A vegetação embeleza e refresca toda a ilha. É uma experiência a repetir.
A great disconnect yet...
Lovely villa and what I really loved is the privacy you get and how quiet it is. Staff are friendly. Food is good yet overpriced. As much as it’s beautiful yet so many things could be improved; 1- Room service is quite slowww...it takes 45-60 mins for food to arrive 2- Food order came incomplete every time we ordered 3- Spa services is not the best, not worth the price. 4- Buggy service takes a long time to arrive 5- We requested a late checkout at 2/3 and they said max by 1 but then they made us waiting in the room for almost an hour to pick us where we ended up leaving by 2! We could have enjoyed our time and not rushed instead of they had better communication. Hope they really take back the feedback and improve because it’s a beautiful place.
Nurai Family Staycation
I stayed here for four nights with my wife and two boys over the Eid holidays. It’s not my first visit, having been here both on a day pass and for an overnight stay in the past a couple of years. However this is the longest I have stayed on the Island. We spent the first two nights in a two bed sea view villa ( 604 ). The property is a very attractive one. The decor inside is modern and has a breezy beach house feel and is very spacious. The bathrooms are stunning, simply spectacular. Extremely big and bright with two atriums and a beautiful white marble finish. It’s probably one of the nicest bathrooms I have seen in this part of the World or anywhere. The outside area was also quite spacious with a decent size pool plus areas with both seating and sun loungers. The one disappointing feature was the lack of the promised ‘sea view’. You can barely see the sea from the villa and in addition the garden areas are so overgrown that when lying on the loungers, the only thing you can see are the trees - disappointing. On closer inspection, the exteriors could also do with a paint retouch as the wood work is now old and worn. The beach at the smokin pineapple is lovely and we were also able to do some water sports. Adult and child sized bikes are provided outside your villa before you arrive so that you can easily get around and explore. It’s a beautifully lush and green landscape and a welcome change from the normal desert landscape of Abu Dhabi. After two nights, we moved to a one bed beach villa for a further two nights (105) . It’s an equally attractive property but much smaller and although nice, the bathroom is not as spectacular. The one beds are however right on the beach with a good sized pool, seating and lounge area and enough garden to make you feel as though you are the only ones there. It’s a lovely villa and feels slightly newer than the two bed we were in for the first two nights. Ideal for a couple or maybe a couple and one young child. Apart from the guy that checked us in at the welcome centre ( who was a bit surly) every member of staff we interacted with on the island was friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Josh who greeted us on arrival and also saw us off when we left. A special mention to Aymen in reservations who helped both book the trip and also helped extend our stay. The staff were all very helpful and keen to help in any way they could. The one area that badly lets down what would otherwise be a true 5 star experience Is the food service. The attention to detail is severely lacking. Due to Covid-19, none of the restaurants were open and it was room service only, which we knew when we booked and were fine with. However, almost every single meal we ordered was delivered either incomplete or incorrect. They would deliver the jam and preserves but not the toast, the tea but not milk or the coffee but no sugar. Ordering a bucket of ice took forever to arrive or simply did not arrive at all. Because the orders were almost nearly always incomplete or wrong this meant we had to call, request and then wait for the missing items. And whilst they were alway happy to take it back and change it, it became annoying when it was happening daily. The menu is also very basic and nothing to get excited about. It would be the one thing that prevented me from staying longer than a few nights. Overall, it’s definetly worth a visit. It’s a stunning location. It’s a shame that the food and service let it down to some degree, which given the price is not really acceptable.
Great island resort. Beach has soft white sand, each villa has a private pool, and you won’t be disturbed. Villas are very well laid out with total luxury. The service, fantastic. Only down side with the current covid protections, the in room dinning was way under par, and very poor. On a call to inform, the service fell over. Not a cheap experience but one you must do, would suggest when the island restaurants are fully open.
