We stayed in this hotel on the 23rd December. After a long flight and a city tour we found that we had no water in our room. We were not notified about this by the hotel. As we had a very early check-out all the hotel could offer was a shower in the gym in the morning. The restaurant was also terrible. The pasta was like glue and the pizza was served cold. There are better places to stay near the airport.

The staff is great; they're friendly and very helpful. The concierge arranges transport to ad from the airport. If the WiFi is weak in your room, they'll give you a router so that's perfect! The food is OK. If you don't like noise especially at night, pick the rooms that are not facing the main road. There's a good gym and sauna. Definitely value for money.

Ok hotel. Everything works, nothing fancy. The concierge was helpful in arranging a taxi for us. WiFi is on and off in rooms but pretty decent in lobby and restaurant. Airport transfer TO hotel was a bit delayed. Addis seems to be having a water shortage at the moment and we woke up to no water one morning.

Excellent staff. Great value for money. Amazing Vegetarian food. Indian dal is the best here. I have stayed here for thrice and for two weeks each time. Hotel may not look good from outside but it's huge and wonderful from Inside.

Renovation renovation!!

Adore the staff and service of the hotel but Wassamar needs some renovations in particular the room and toilet. If they happen to do that it will be a fabulous one to stay for short trips. Breakfast servers is ok, nothing fancy but does the work with good coffee. Internet at the hotel is ok compare to Ethiopian standard. Airport drop off is better than pick up 🙂
