Stayed 3 nights during holidays. Great atmosphere in lobby, very good at the cafe-bar at the back. Modern and confy room with efficient air conditioning. The only drawback is the shades ( and the need to adjust but only once) that separate the bathroom with main room.

Small and neat hotel in the city center. Parking on the surrounding streets. Few rooms need to be booked at the moment. Problem with soundproofing. Clean with small rooms and the essentials of its class. Moderate breakfast needs enrichment. Lunch or dinner at the ground floor restaurant connected to the hotel. Small varieties but very attentive and great varieties of wines. Price satisfactory.

It’s midnight on a Sunday. We’ve just returned from a late coffee with friends and are hungry. Faced with a very early departure and a 4 hour drive to Athens we ask at the Bistro if the kitchen is still serving food. We are told it’s not so we retire to our room. No sooner has the door closed than reception is on the phone to apologise. The barman misunderstood and fears he misled us. The chef will be happy to serve us. We return to the bistro and have a nice salad. How many other hotels will go to those lengths to accommodate clients. Which is why I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone going to central Greece.

Wonderful friendly staff. Beautiful traditional building. Spacious rooms with good bathrooms. Extensive breakfast with a big variety of dishes on the roof terras. Nice brasserie with an attractive terras. Good parking service. Central location, quiet rooms.

Driving into Agrinio you wonder if the Marpessa hotel really exists. But as soon as you have found it you will love it. And it seems, so do the locals: everyone sits in the hotels own Bistro 17 and enjoy a drink or snack. The room was super-clean, very comfy and nicely decorated. You instantly feel at home. They even have an underground parking. The hotel also features a rooftop bar. The locals however seem not to have seen tourists in their life.
