This place is very nice, very clean & has an all around great atmosphere & location. I'm rather OCD (LOL)...so cleanliness is my thing. I don't care if the place is 100 years old, as long as it's clean. This was a great place to stay, minus the fact that we were told that continental breakfast was $13. We were in shock, we assumed it was included...as we were told the evening before that there was breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately it was not conveyed that there was a cost. When we went down to get Continental Breakfast, my hubby put 2 little sweet rolls on his plate. We both got coffee which is complimentary. At that time, a very nice guy came out & informed us of the charge. A tad embarrassing, but no other diners were there at the time, so we were thankful of that. It was too late, so we offered to not eat anything & we offered to forgo it & give it back to him. He said that was okay, since we didn't know & we didn't need to give it back, but he wanted us to be aware of the charge in the future. I'm sure he was uncomfortable with the situation, as well. Had we known that when we checked it, we would have eaten right next door at Cracker Barrel. Hilton Garden Inn needs to post a sign as to what the policy is...right where the food is located, which was there with the free coffee as well. We were very disappointed in that aspect, as the rooms are not cheap. I did still give it an excellent rating, because everything else was great. The room was stellar, very clean, had a fridge, micro, coffee & the comforts of home. They took a small space & maximized everything in the room to meet all our needs. Great storage, work area, chairs, table, etc. The bathroom was spacious & had the softest towels ever. I loved that it had an ironing board & iron, as well. Again, Hilton Garden Inn Needs to Post a Visible Sign for all patrons of the Charge for Continental Breakfast.

A good place to transit

It was a basic hotel to transit for a night. We opted for breakfast points instead of receiving $10.00 credit towards breakfast since we are leaving early. TV remote needs new batteries. Several small items that the housekeeper forgot but that were quickly taken care of.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.. I was able to check in 2 hours earlier than the stated check-in time. The front entrance and lobby were being renovated, which I was told before arriving, but getting luggage inside via side door was a big challenge. Room was very nice. Near many restaurants and I-25

I would recommend this hotel the service was very good, they have washer and dryer, you can eat a fantastic breakfast if you want and they have a good lunch and dinner menu too. I also sat outside by the pool and that was very nice too

Needed last minute room

I arrived in town without a reservation and after checking with other hotels in the area that were booked up I stopped at this one. Desk clerk was nice but the room was $180 a night which was a little steep for me for this hotel in this part of town. With no other choices I opted to stay here since I would get Hilton points for it. Hotel was dated but the room was decent with a nice big clean bed and big bathroom. I was on the ground floor next to the laundry so there was some noise in the hall. There was no free breakfast that I was aware of. I believe there is a restaurant on site but I didn't go.
