Nice staff, good location.

The location was good, the hotel was clean with the basic options you expect out of a Courtyard tier hotel. The staff was nice, parking was easy with plenty of carts. We drove from there to everywhere but it was easy to get around.

We had the king guest room with sofa bed. The room was to small with the sofa bed let out. Other than the size of the room everything else in the room was good. The Bistro was a disappointment. It wasn't open for lunch on the weekend. However there are several restaurants in the Avalon area.

Excellent staff and stay

The staff service was excellent throughout the stay. Very friendly and quickly attentive to any request. Enjoyed the evening bar - very nice. Room was clean and comfortable, and very spacious. Nice working area and great blackout screens on motor control.

OVERRATED, OVERPRICED & OLD

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. I was very disappointed with the condition of the hotel being a Marriott brand. Room #503 smelled moldy and musty, low water pressure in shower, dirty laundry room, business center printer was inoperable, and I was overcharged more than $250. FYI, I used reward points that, covered the entire 3 day stay and still charged $250. This was very frustrating because I had to wait more than 15 days for the charges to drop from my account, unable to use those funds. The managers Nicole and Takira were not taking my problem seriously concerning my money, nor able to resolve the issue upon request and believed that 12,500 points should make up for the major inconvenience of being overcharged and spending countless hours on the phone with customer service agents. I was there on business. Marriott dropped the ball. I will never stay at this Marriott location again. Not maintained at all. There was a water leak from the ceiling right at the elevator entrance on the lobby floor. The breakfast food was expired, get it together Marriott.

Worst Hotel ever - Rude Front desk and worse assistant manager

The Assistant Manager Takira Deal was extremely unprofessional, rude, incompetent inconsiderate and ignorant of the needs of weary travelers. She blamed the guests for her failure to properly train and manage. Do not make constuctive criticism of the staff as requested by the constant contact email satisfaction surveys as she will just play the blame game and blame others. Incredible how this brand could keep such a person in their employ. Go to Hilton or Choice Hotels.
