This is a regular town hotel with average standards to offer. Hotel is very good located right in front of the train station at a walking distance to supermarkets. Reception speaks a little English, rooms do not have a fridge, carpet was stinky and the mattress was so soft and bulging to the side. Instead of a double room, that we had booked they gave us a twin room instead. TV small but working, rooms clean, so was the bathroom. Hotel is very quiet and has a big parking spot and a view of the cars. Good enough for few days.

7 of us stayed 2 nights while visiting family, the rooms where a good size and clean the staff helpfull and free parking. Internet is via T mobile and not cheap the breakfast was ok nothing outstanding.

Rooms clean, spacious. No tea coffee making, no iron, no hair dryer, no aircon. Mini Fridges some dont work. Breakfast is the old meat, cheese. Internet is T Mobile 29e for 30 days. Can be used in other places such as Leipzig airport. Staff try to be helpful but don't expect too much. Lift to all floors is useful for the luggage. free carpark. Restaurant just downstairs is Greek and one of the best in Altenburg. Worth having dinner there.

Hotel about 100 to 200 metres from Altenburg station so convenient if you are travelling by train. in quiet part of town. some front office staff speak english. all try to be helpful. hotel seems to be run with a small staff. rooms Ok size wise and clean. beds nice and firm. we found hotel quiet. good continental breakfast. seems to be used by 'grey' tourist bus groups and businesssmen. no internet but WIFI available if you have yr own laptop. not really an 'international' hotel but then at this stage i don't think Altenburg is an international destination. main 'old' area of town is a approx 15/20 min walk away. nothing much around the hotel to do/see. but it felt very safe to walk around the area for exercise at night. lots of off street car parking available. no lunch or dinner available, only breakfast.

Für eine oder auch zwei Nächte okay um sich die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Altenburg anzuschauen. Unweit des Bahnhofs, der auch schon mal bessere Zeiten gesehen hat. Zu weit zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Teppichbiden in den Zimmern müsste mal erneuert werden oder Vynulboden verlegt werden.
