Save your money for a real resort or hotel, you get zero pool access unless you stay in a suite and the fees and parking are astronomically high! Rooms are also very dirty and there is no housekeeping.

We stayed at the family suite and we loved it. Very clean and big. The shower is big and the toilet have a separate door. It also have a bath.The stuff is very nice. The pool area is awesome and perfect for kids.not far from Disneyland and lots of places to eat not far from the hotel.

As we started planning our trip to California, we are from Arizona we started looking for a hotel that was reasonable. This one was a perfect location for all what we were planning, Disneyland, beach and super sports sand show that we were going to. Liked the bunk beds and separate living room area. Pool was nice here too. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel if we come back this way. Also would recommend!

Bad service will ruin it all

We stayed for 5 days / 4 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. Hotel is nice and clean, you will get what you see in the pics. But it doesn’t matter how good the rooms and facilities are, a bad service kills all of it. Let me just mention the most relevant example: As several hotels nowadays, Cambria still has a “Covid policy” in place of not cleaning the rooms everyday. We were promised it would happen after the 3rd night, and if we needed anything they would be “happy to help” by just placing a call to the front desk requesting the service. This sounded fair… but it was far from true. Night #1 and one of our kids had an accident on one of the beds at night. As soon as we woke up the next morning we requested help to change the sheets of the bed during the day, since we will be at the parks the whole day, and would come back late…. “Noted, thanks for letting us know” front desk said. 10:30pm, tired after a day at the parks with 3 toddlers, we arrive at our room to find out that the cleaning service never came to our room. I placed a call at that moment requesting urgent support and letting them know that they did not do as requested… “noted” front desk said again. 30 mins after that, nothing happened. I called again “noted, they will be with you shortly”. Again, nothing happened. We all fell asleep and were not able to use the bed we paid for during that night. After all the calls… We expected that the next day, the sheets change would happen while we were at the parks. We came back tired to find that once again nothing happened. More calls… and no sheets changed that night (again). After 3 nights, we are hopeful since as mentioned earlier, Cambria’s promise was that after the 3rd night the room would be cleaned. We were hoping Cambria would be able to at least keep that promise… but they didn’t. That day we stayed at the hotel during the day and we were chasing the cleaning team in our floor, to ask them when will they clean our room (so we could leave it for them to clean + change the infamous sheets): “it’s not in my program for today” they said twice. I called the front desk again asking them to comply with their policy and commitment after 3 days of ignoring our requests. Once more, nothing happened. I had to BEG to the cleaning team in our floor to help us. They were the only kind persons in this hotel, who after feeling our despair, helped us by cleaning our room and changing the sheets on the beds, despite that their shift was about to be over. Kudos to Consuelo and her colleague! Additionally the hotel was terribly crowded, you could specially suffer from this during breakfast time. A lot of people, and a lot of stressed out and angry employees serving you food in your plate as if you were in jail. Did I mentioned hammering in the middle of the night? Yeah, that happens as well. And to also help everyone set their expectations… you might see a nice kitchen in the pictures of your room. It’s indeed nice, but there are no plates, cutlery, cups, bowls, glasses or anything to be used. I guess you should bring them or buy them before, plan accordingly. Hope this is helpful for someone, I now know that I should’ve come and read some of the latest reviews here before booking my room. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. As mentioned in the beginning, the service will ruin it ALL.

Really comfortable, clean and close to the parks!

Had a wonderful experience at the Cambria. The beds are comfortable, and the AC worked well for the unseasonably hot SoCal weather. It's a close, 15-minute walk to the parks, but not so close you have to worry about noise and traffic. The pool area is spacious, with great gathering spaces even if you're not using the pool (or fun water slides!) Will definitely be staying there on every future trip to the Disney area.
