Ok hotel for a couple of nights
We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2020 . It was my first time in Belfast and it is a truly beautiful city. We arrived early and were told to come back around 1pm to see if there were any rooms available. A young lady gave us an early check in and we went to the room. The room was adaquate for this standard of hotel. The only thing is you can here EVERYTHING as the walls and ceilings are paper thin, so do NOT expect a good nights sleep! I could even hear someone next door snoring!! Apart from that it is in a good position , just 15 minute walk to city centre and has plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. We were blessed with the weather and got to have a good walk around. The tourist attractions like the Titanic museum is well worth a visit and please do hire a car, as the hotel provide free gated parking and with the car you can go outside Belfast and explore this gorgeous country. We also visited The Dark Hedges and Giants Causeway , which is simply stunning! Unfortunately due to covid, as with everything the tourists were not there, so we had a lot of space to ourselves! The breakfast at the hotel is included in the price and was restricted, but they gave you a bag of goodies including a bacon roll, so it was not too bad. They made the most of a bad situation, which the govt. has forced on them and us! All in all a good stay, i just wish the walls were not so thin :)
Excellent
Returning to the hotel after our stay last year, we were a bit apprehensive as to how things would be with the covid 19 situation, but we were immediately put at ease, friendly attentive people on the desk, was allowed to check it early, all the procedures put in place to make you feel safe and welcomed, hotel in a great location, We will be returning when this nightmare is over, and the holiday inn express will be our hotel of choice.
Family night
Having arrived in Belfast on an early morning flight, I rang the hotel to see if we could check in early and they said yes, so we arrived at 9am with a smiling host who was very nice to us. also breakfast was ok I can't say much as it was complimentary, we also had a late check out which was very good of the hotel... for me one of the best valued hotel I've been too and clean and friendly. Will return again if in belfast.
Excellent stay will be our first choice Hotel to stay whenever we visit Belfast.
We experienced a lovely stay. The lady on reception greeted us warmly and was very informative re Covid related procedures within the Hotel which was very reassuring. Room was very pleasant, quiet and spotlessly clean. Secure parking was an added bonus for us. The Breakfast bag is a very "clever" idea under the current covid restrictions. Only drawback which is not the fault of the hotel is the Guests who " did not" adhere to the social distancing rules.
