It was a soul soothing and healing experience in a holistic sense. I came with the hope of destressing and left the place feeling renewed by the yoga practices, healthy and delicious food, treatments and the beautiful environment. I would highly recommend it. The resort is very clean and safe and the staff super caring and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

I visited Veda5 for 5 days for the yoga & ayurveda package and had a lovely time. Staff: First of all a shoutout to the very polite staff who made me feel very welcome and home. Property: The property itself is a wonderful lush green place, facing the lake, surrounded by palm trees and close to the beach. Every sunrise and sunset I was amazed by the peacefulness of the place, simply wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned everyday. At evening time sometimes there’s loud music from a surrounding party, but that’s a sure thing when in North-Goa so I couldn’t bother ;) Food; The food was absolutely more than amazing. Very tasteful and healthy, with some slight adjustments made for you dosha if needed. Well served by Sonia who was always there to serve you at her best :) Ayurvedic Consult: The first day I got immediately a doctor consultation and that was a bit disappointing for me. It was quite quick and superficial, confirming what I already thought. I expected a bit more questions about my mental-physical wellbeing, my digestion and maybe a tong analysis. I hoped for a bit more in-depth knowledge and details about my bodytype: what is my birth constitution and what is my dosha in-balance? After asking it again, I still wasn’t sure if he was talking about my birth-constitution or my in-balance, which was confusing. I hoped the consult got complemented with extensive information about which foods, herbs, type of movement, dayroutine, oils, selfcare etc. fits my bodytype. I really had to ask to get more information. Also if I didn’t ask for it myself ,there was no follow up or whatsoever at the end of the retreat. Over all it wasn’t bad, but I just didn’t learn much more then I already did myself by reading books on ayurveda. And ofcourse a sidenote that maybe if you’re doing a detox or panchakarma package it’s more comprehensive :) Ayurvedic treatments The treatments were very professional done by the staff, and were delightful! The abhyanga massage was the best massage I’ve ever had :) Yoga, pranayama & meditation Every morning there’s 1 hour of yoga, in the afternoon 30 minutes yoga nidra and in the evening 1,5 hour of pranayama, yoga and meditation. For me it would have made more sense to have the more intensive pranayama, yoga and meditation class in the morning, another yoga class in de the afternoon and yoga nidra in the evening. But besides that I absolutely loved the yoga classes given by Yash. He’s a knowledgeable teacher and gives hatha/alignment classes. I would say the classes are intermediate/advance level. For me it was fine, but I could imagine if your new into yoga sometimes a bit of adjustment suggestions or technical/physically explanation was missing. The classes were varied and Yash gave good information about what the asana’s, pranayama and meditation were good for. The atmosphere of the classes was peaceful, in the beautiful yoga shala, with tranquil music, incense and the rising sun enlightening the room. Last but not at least Yash was looking for some ‘collaborations’ withe the doctor, for example showing us the neti-pot and nauseau method for cleaning your body. Programming & Schedule: Overall the food and yogaclasses structured the day well by scheduled times. The side programming like ayurveda lectures, ayurveda cooking class and half day sightseeing was not really alive. You really had to aks for it. For me they could be a bit more facilitating and hands on on the side program, as you expect something of it when booking the retreats. Also sometimes the planning of the treatments was a bit chaotic, you had to ask for it every morning what time your treatment is. Overall; Over all I would very much recommend staying at this rejuvenating place! I had a wonderful and relaxed time there.
