Stayed here over night. We took 2 rooms, one for our boys and one for us. Firstly it was difficult to find a parking space outside the hotel. The hotel did allow us to lock our bicycles in their garage. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been refurbished in a long while. The rooms were a good size but none of the expected items that you normally find in a hotel. No kettle so no where to make tea of coffee. They give you a free bottle of water but it was warm so not very refreshing. The bathroom was large. On entering the toilet brush was left in the toilet. There was a horrid brown smudge blob on the wall next to the toilet ( unsure what it was but ...), the bath had a shower in it but the shower door was to be found on our balcony 😂😂. It had obviously had an attempt at being fixed as there was Duck tape on the hinges on the frame on the bath. The boys said the shower gels were empty but neatly placed back. On the good side the breakfast was better than we were anticipating. It had a good range of cereals, breads, yoghurts, teas, coffee, eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheeses. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Arrived at 16:30 hrs, no bedding, no towels in room. We were told that the restaurant was not open that day. Room was tatty. It was very hot when we arrived, but we never expected very hot water to come out of the cold taps! They had to be run for over 5 minutes to get them to cool down. Breakfast was the one good feature, good choice of food.

Room Price Not Worth!

Is a big complex located near the center of Bad Bergzabern. We had a fast check-in and got a twin room on the first floor situated at the backside. The room was okay; we got two single beds placed against the wall, but the bed was too small for adults. I should say, a children’s bed. There wasn’t enough space between beds, so cramped. We had free wifi in room, television, complimentary bottle of water, a wardrobe, and a balcony overlooking the backside of the hotel. The bathroom is so small and barely space for anything. The towels aren’t big; it has the size of a kitchen towel. The small buffet breakfast included in the room rate serves from 7 to 10 am. You have to get down early as it looks like first come first served! Some trays were empty when we got to the breakfast room at nine o’clock. The room wasn’t worth the price of 82€ booked by booking.com. We are just passing through on a journey, so for the night is okay, but will not going back!

Lovely hotel with nice restaurant

This was just a brief stopover for us, but we were glad to have selected this hotel. The room was nice and clean, overlooking the rear garden. For any staying longer, there's a walking path that goes right past the outdoor dining area in the back. We had a fabulous traditional dinner in the outdoor seating area. Free parking and wifi. I understand it also has a spa.

Disappointing hotel

I booked the hotel because of the name 'Kurparkblick' or Kurpark view. My single room backs onto a noisy main road. Entrance/car park made up of bits of tarmac, concrete & gravel. Very uninspiring. The reception is clean & bright, but no one there! I had an economy single & it was just that. Bathroom very small. When I sat on the loo, my shoulders touched the shower screen & wash hand basin. Tiles & mirror cracked. Breakfast was usual German style, bread & coffee particularly nice. The restaurant had a small but good selection of dishes. However, the couple sat on the next table, had waited an hour for their main courses, but the soups had not turned up! There was only 10 people in the restaurant. The chairs were worn or torn. For a 3* hotel, I thought this was poor.
