Way overpriced for what is offered

Quiet and remote, good location
Enough towels are provided
Food is good for buffet food
Service staff is friendly
We rented some bikes for a fair price in a very good condition
The WiFi either doesn’t work or is very slow.
Wifi is even too bad to watch Netflix & Co.
The bathroom is all made of glass. You can get privacy with pulling a curtain, but it’s certainly not very sound-proof.
However there is also no Smart TV in the room to just watch Netflix & Co. directly there.
The TV doesn’t even have HD channels.
So the entertainment possibilities in the room are really limited, let alone talking for people who might have to take business calls.
The 2 pools (one indoor, one outdoor) are way too cold. They are sold in at 28 and 31 degrees, but they were certainly much colder than that.
The saunas open at 2pm - in a „Wellnesshotel“?!
Also the Sauna area is very poor. There is one Finnish, one saunarium and the Steam Sauna was closed due to construction.
There is 3 shifts of times for breakfast and dinner. We recommend to book upfront as otherwise the most popular times are booked.
Beautiful place for relaxing vacation

We stayed in the aja Hotel for my boyfriend´s birthday and we were both really happy! The staff was very caring and friendly, the beach and the swimming pools are really nice, the food was good and we also enjoyed an amazing jazz concert in the evening! Everything was perfect, we spent an unforgettable weekend! We will be back with great pleasure! Thanks!
Average clean hotel near golf courses
Avaliou em 7 de Outubro de 2019
Stayed here to play the Rainbow Open golf tournament and it was ok. You need a car here as there is no public transport and only 2 taxis in the whole area. Easy downhill walking distance down to the ARosa hotel and the club house (10-15 mins), on a forest road. Unlit after midnight so pitch black. A bit too far to carry clubs. The hotel itself was clean in the public areas, ok breakfast and has a little 24-hour grocers shop. Some of the staff were friendly, others rather brusque. Everyone was really slow. The hotel has no irons to borrow (which I think is a basic service) so don’t expect unwrinkled clothing. Bedroom wasn’t cleaned during our stay, bins not emptied, dirty glasses not removed. Veggie food very limited and staff a bit rude when asked -‘just take the bacon out’. We were denied a later check out in a rude manner with no real attempt to help us. We only stayed here because it was a lot cheaper than the ARosa. Would have preferred to stay there. If we stay at the AJa again will depend on the price, but they really should do something about their staff hospitality.
Good resort for vacation, but somewhat impractical for business

While traveling in the area, stayed at this resort, which is well stocked with vacation-type amenities: golf course, next to a lake, sporting facilities, hiking trails, etc. However, I was there for business, and it is not designed for the typical business traveler.
Worst part - no A/C in the hot German summer, and no fans available from the hotel.
Service was on the low end of average.
Not worth the money

The rooms were okay, nothing special. No shampoo or conditioner but I take my own anyway. I didn't like that you could see into the shower as it's only closed from a curtain next to the bed. We enjoyed the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was cold, even trying to swim you didn't warm up. We ate in the afternoon and the food wasn't very tasty. We didn't try the evening meal. Breakfast was good we all enjoyed the different foods on offer.
Parking is €11 extra which we didn't know before.
All in all it's a nice hotel but not worth it for the price. I wouldn't return.
