A beautiful resort and relaxing vacation
Avaliou em 14 de março de 2023
Beautiful resort where you can easily spend a day lounging by the pool or at the beach. All of the restaurants on site were consistently very good or excellent. However, the shining star of this resort is the staff - everyone we interacted with was top notch and made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait to return!

Chill in luxury

Beautifully maintained resort! All staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. Food prices are tad high. Very clean and excellent security. Special praise for staff - Blanca and Ines, housekeeping. Edgar, Charlie, Jair, Socrates, Omar, Chema, food and beverage. Roberto, reception. Actually, every encounter with an employee was an example of excellent customer service. Bravo!

Not as good as the Four Seasons
Avaliou em 13 de março de 2023
The hotel is lovely but not perfect. I’ve previously stayed at the nearby Four Seasons. That is magical. Stunning sunsets. Wonderful service. Perfection. The Conrad - lovely big pools. Food is enjoyable. We had a suite with a plunge pool - kind of a pointless option as there is no privacy on the ground floors. Just book a standard room and use the pools. Service seemed overwhelmed. Took us over an hour to receive any food after seating on the Sunday night. Required multiple follow ups for various other items. If you have a choice - go to the Four Seasons.

Five Star Resort

5 star resort on all fronts. The staff is professional and courteous; daily checks to ensure meeting expectations. The property itself and grounds are well maintained and landscaping is extensive and lush. Several dining options on-site with the signature restaurant offering unique culinary cuisine and a view that is breathtaking. Short ride into Punta De Mita although we found no reason to leave the resort. Rest, relaxation and fine food and drinks; the Conrad Hilton would be hard to beat!

Should be a 5 star

I spent 4 nights at Conrad Punta de Mita in early March 2023 with my husband for a baby moon. Overall our stay was really nice and we left feeling rejuvenated, but anyone who is contemplating a trip should be mindful of a few nuances of the property before booking. The pros: The grounds are beautifully manicured, pools are gorgeous, service is great and rooms are clean. We had an Ocean view in Casa 1. The property is compact enough that everything is easily accessible regardless of where you are located but big enough that you will not get bored over the course of five days. The food was always at least very good and sometimes even great - we particularly enjoyed Arbol for our complementary breakfast (make sure you get this) and dinner even though Codex and Mezquite are promoted as the premier restaurants. The time at the spa was really nice and I’d qualify it as a standard nice hotel spa (with prices to match). You can also play basketball, tennis and pickle ball, which were easy to do as not many guests seemed to be into it (and these activities are free) The cons: You will end up spending quite a bit more than your room rate: Budget at least $250 a day on food, drink, and add-on activities, but you will probably spend more because the hotel puts you into blissful vacation mode and you are a captive audience. There are no other restaurants in walking distance and to leave the hotel is an expensive taxi ride. The hotel claims uber is spotty in the area- to be fair we didn’t attempt an uber but we were in lazy mode this trip. Certain fitness activities such as yoga are an extra charge which at comparable hotels are gratuitous. There was a very beautiful but very loud wedding with parties two nights at the beach and in the central grounds, both of which were more than within earshot and could keep you up until 11pm. At the rates the standard guests were paying, it seemed borderline inappropriate to subject them to such noise that one might expect at an all-inclusive hotel patronized by a younger crowd. The one positive was the fireworks show the wedding had, which we watched from our room’s patio deck. While the cons seem longer than the pros, the grounds and service make for an overall great romantic, family or friends weekend. We might not pay the prices on the website, but for the rate we got we left happy and relaxed.
