There is so much required to bring this property back to the 5-star status it claims. It is old and very tired. Poor water pressure, old linen, and mildew surrounding the bathroom basin. It is located well for walking along Jalan Asia Afrika, and for access to Jalan Braga and the Grand Mosque of Bandung.

I stayed 3 nights in Grand Preanger Hotel in Bandung. I stayed very time I visiting Bandung. Hotel is dated but the architecture of Art Deco during the Dutch period just a pleasure place to stay. Breakfast caters for the local and European taste. The staff are always courteous and friendly. The doorman Mr. Sugeng is such an obliging staff and help me so many ways including getting the transport from the Hotel to the Railway station. I shall stay at The Grand Preanger Hotel next time I am in Bandung.

Overall, nice stay yet the staff were so friendly and Special to Pak Sugeng, a very welcoming person. I love his attitude.. the surrounding was so calm n fix to those who prefer a silent places.. for sure i’ll repeat it in future, thank you so much 💗

Old tired hotel

Big room but Old hotel, broken furniture, moldy bathroom, hot water is good. Ripped old towels n old bedsheets. You can tell they are not super white. TV is small and no good program. Just an old tired hotel room that needs a facelift soon.

Pa Sugeng (Picolo) was of great help during my stay and provided us with great service. We would like to thank him for his dedication! He went up and above our expectations and we hope to see him again when we stay at Grand Preanger. The service of the hotel was great, including the daily cleanings service. The staff was very hospitable. However, the towels could be cleaned more diligently, as we found several dirty spots. Nonetheless, I recommend Grand Hotel Preanger for their great service and staff.
