Great place to stay

Lovely tidy house and a massive garden. Came here with family and friends for my 21st birthday and no complaints at all. Loud music allowed, great car parking spaces, everything you need within the kitchen area.
Would definitely stay again!
Nice hotel, close to Khaosan Road

A nice, central and clean hotel, a footstep away from the attractive Khaosan Road and its nightlife. Very friendly staff, good price and better than expected room.
No breakfast included in price, but can be ordered at very cheap price. We woke up with the smell of bacon & eggs!
We picked this place as it is around the corner from the departure location for the Giant Ibis Big Bus organization, which departs to many major hubs (national & international). We left Bangkok for a bustrip to Cambodia from here.
small dark but comforable room

I moved to this hotel from a bigger one nearby that did not have room for me for the last three days of my stay in Bangkok. I had the mid-range room - which was very small - a large mattress on a slightly-raised wooden platform, a bench on which two people could sit side by side, and a lttte bit of floor (and a closet and mini-bar fridge).
Bathroom was very small - no one over the age of about 6 could sit straigh forward on the toilet. Water pressure was low. No hot water in sink (not a failure, just not provided at all - only one tap.)
But the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly.
So if you just want a place to put your bags down and sleep, this can do. It feels safe and it is in the Khao San neighbourhood full of backpackers and the hostels and small restaurants (lots on the sidestreets) that serve them and the locals. An agreeable area to stroll in, again safe and friendly. (And if you want a "Jack Armani" suit, you can get one made around the corner from this hotel!)
If you need to work or read seriously, this is not the place for you, unless you can read or work in bed. The bench is not comfortable after an hour or so, though it's padded (as am I). There is not enough light to read a book. If you are reading a phone or computer or e-reader, no problem.
Convenient location, comfortable stay, value for money.

We were at a superior room in Diamond House for three night. The room had a bunk, which I happily chose. The room isn't the most spacious, but it's perfect for guests who are looking for a place to crash in the night, and get a good night's sleep. The beds are spacious, and the room is very clean.
The A/C doesn't exactly reach the bunk, but the room was cold enough for a comfortable sleep. The bathroom isn't anything fancy, has the basic amenities including a hot water shower, and the facilities work very well.
The staff are friendly as well, provide free cleaning and two bottles of free water daily.
It was a very affordable venue, and was very convenient to reach all the tourist attractions, through a Grab Taxi, or tuk tuk.
The neighbourhood is safe, has many restaurants, bars and convenient stores which you can access with ease. In contrast to many areas in Bangkok, this neighbourhood was quiet.
Definitely worth picking this spot, if you're looking for affordable and convenient.
