O hotel é de superior categoria mas o pequeno-almoço é muito pobre. O pequeno-almoço é servido à lista, com uma escolha para a comida e outra para a bebida. Tudo o resto, mesmo um copo de água ou um café, terá de ser pago à parte. Pobre é pouco para adjectivar o pequeno-almoço.

Hotel com muito conforto. Quarto amplo, bem decorado. Equipe muito gentil e eficiente. localização ótima, a 5 minutos de caminhada do metrô. Preço adequado. Excelente custo/benefício. Ótima opção em Bangkok.

Disappointing and lacking good maintenance

I stayed here for 4 nights . Its so stupid as I am here for business and I want to use the gym before work but they dont open the gym until 7 am. They should use common sense and just put a card control on the door like every other good hotel does. Then after its open they have one treadmill for the guests and condo people which is not enough. I stayed here many times before and they had 3 treadmills. I asked the staff why only one works he said they dont have money to fix them. How stupid! Lastly the locker room is already too old and they dont clean it like before. The shower is disgusting and needs total remodel. This is Dusit hotel really?

Good For Long Term Stay

There are many many pluses staying in this hotel including big spacious rooms ( 77 sq m ) with separate sitting areas, balconies in the rooms facing either the greenery with lake or the city skyline, very reasonable room rates and excellent food. The food at the Dustin Gourmet is yummy living up to the standards of the Dusit Catering College. As the all suite hotel has less than 100 rooms, service by staff was excellent and personal. Amenities provided in the room include a microwave,a medium size fridge, a hot beverage machine and some cutlery making our stay like home. Access to the major shopping malls in downtown was easy either by walking or the MRT. This is not a new hotel ( the former Anantara hotel) which has undergone some upgrade renovations. However there are some common areas that looked dated and need some action by management.

Staycation in Bangkok

We have stayed in this hotel twice over the past weeks. We are expatriates, living in Bangkok and as we decided not to travel abroad this summer, we have had an opportunity to stay in some local hotels during the summer months. Our first booking at the Dusit Suites was for two nights at the end of June and we liked the place so much that we made a further booking to stay a whole week on the second occasion. The hotel has a lot to offer as the rooms are very spacious; ours had a large bedroom, an open planned living and dining area with a small kitchenette and balconies leading off both these main rooms. The bathroom contained a shower and a deep soaking bath. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony as it is in front of a lake, but this is framed by many tower blocks which lighten the horizon each evening. The cable tv is excellent for any British traveller has it has a wide range of English film channels, BBC News and BBC lifestyle. The hotel is conveniently situated next to a BTS station and all of the shops of the nearby malls. The staff at the hotel are lovely and cannot do enough to help. We had several room service meals and also ate in the restaurant; the quality of the food is very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
