good value basic room and location

the hotel is cheap and basic, you get what you paid for. its located walking distance to wat saket and can easily get to Siam by water taxi which beats the Bangkok traffic. stayed at the top floor and only reachable with stairs, our room's window/glass was blurred out so no views at all/you can't open it. Also, they need to work on their shower head and the odd smell of the bathroom.

It's perfect budget hotel and value for money. Very nice bed with soft sheet. The room was so beautiful. The view to the river was nice and living room of the hotel was nice. The staffs were nice and everything there is great.

Good security. 2-3 layers from street level. Good value. The double we stayed in was spacious. Quiet(er) area. And if you want water view, be prepared for loud roaring boats at sunrise. Black out (semi) window curtains. Whole room Clean with good AC (except a clogged sink). Nice open air lounge over looking the canal (but bring mosquito spray!) Courteous staff. Available clothes washer and dryer via your own coins (not weight) Available area for fridges and cooker, etc. Could stay here easily a week. Nearby clothing wholesale district.

Cheap and basic but very clean. Within walking distance of the Democracy Monument and the Grand Palace. The Khlong Saen Saep express boats run directly outside the back of the hotel, you can almost reach out and grab them, and there is a station nearby. The common area is big, with a small kitchen, TV, video player and patio overlooking the canal. Laundry is available on site for 30baht per wash/dry. The rooms 206/207 are very small, but for $12/day we paid, nobody could complain about that. It's big enough for one but a second could squeeze in like my friend did with his girlfriend next door. The BIGGEST complaint is the SMELL from the plumbing. Unless you keep the bathroom doors closed, the entire room will smell like sewage gas. I ended up placing wet towels over all the drains in an attempt to block the smell. Overall, it is a decent place to stay and I would consider it again.

If you prefer to find a nice room at reasonable price, choose this hotel. The room is very nice, really clean at good size. They set up a big fridge in the room (although I did not use it). 02 bottles of water is complimentary, fast wifi. Remember to bring your amenities because they provide shampoo and bath gel only. Towels are quite old. No elevator. Lobby on the second floor. Location is inconvenient because you can not find any restaurant near there, far from famous places and difficult to reach taxi.
