Standard Travelers Hotel with reasonable price.

Avaliou em 7 de janeiro de 2022

Standard hotel for travelers who prefer cheaper price (1,100-1,500 baht per night) but no concern about accessibility to Sky train, subway or tourist attractions. The hotel is clean with standard facilities; shower room, working desk, air con, TV etc but not with full activities or dining. No parking available but the hotel is easy to connect to local street food.

Poor service by Hotel manager

Avaliou em 5 de agosto de 2020

We’d reserved an Executive room king bed 1 night at T2 Sathorn Bangkok and then we checked-in with “Hotel manager”. We found when we check-out in the morning that she “downgraded” us to Deluxe room that cheaper room rate. The room size and facilities I received was well below the Executive room standard expected. There are queen bed that too small so 2 of us couldn’t sleep well all night. We’re very disappointed with the manager’s service and her responsibility. We’re certainly not recommend this hotel.

Good hotel in an interesting area

Avaliou em 7 de janeiro de 2020

I was looking for a place that wasn't too far away from where a friend of mine was staying (he was at the Sukhothai, but that's a bit rich for my blood). The descriptions and reviews of T2 were certainly encouraging, so I thought I'd give it a try. I used to live in Bangkok (many years ago), but in the Sukhumvit area. As a result, that's where I've normally chosen to stay on other visits. Might have to re-think that now. Sathorn is really nice. Much quieter, more 'local' and away from the tourist hordes. I liked the area a lot. There are some cool restaurants (both western and local) very close by, and Soi Suanplu is very pleasant and tree-lined. Anyway, back to the hotel. The staff are great. Nothing is too much trouble, they speak great English and were super-helpful. I was given an 'upgrade' on arrival, so that was nice, too! The rooms are perfectly adequate. Nice comfy bed, aircon that definitely did its job. Little sofa and TV area, full-size fridge with a few beers and waters in it, plus - oddly enough - a sink unit and small cupboards for plates and bowls. There's also a built-in wardrobe and a small work desk. There were a couple of downsides, though: 1. The curtains don't block out much light, so if you're not careful, you'll find yourself waking up with the dawn. Not always what you want. 2. As other reviewers have noted, the bathroom is unbelievably dark! The toilet area was spectacularly illuminated, allowing you to stand back and fully appreciate whatever you'd just done there, but the rest of it was a cave. Shaving became a very nerve-wracking business indeed! However, I mentioned this on check out and was told: "Oh, there's another switch down below the mirror, which lights up that area". Never found it, or had the opportunity to try. Oh, and the water pressure was a bit lower than I'd have liked, too. 3. Walking down the sub-soi (minor street) to get to the hotel off the main Soi, you're likely to come across some very 'challenging' aromas. Practice breathing through your mouth! But those are a few minor gripes in what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. I'd definitely go there again, and I'd recommend others do, too.

Good Choice in Silom

Avaliou em 12 de agosto de 2019

Nice Boutique Hotel. Rooms is clean and nice. Cold AC. Staff are friendly. Bed very comfortable. About 20 minute walk to Silom station but I enjoyed it. Would recommend lighting in bathroom though. A bit dark. Also, the placement of the sofa is weird. It faces a glass wall
