A small flaw

Close to the local shopping and eating, this Holiday Inn only has one small flaw, The road to enter is very poorly lit and and a lack of signs makes it very easy to drive by without seeing it, Other than that flaw, we loved our stay Clean room, super staff and even special treatment when one elevator was temp. out of order. Would definitely return !

When checking in the employee at the front desk was not very friendly. You could tell she didn’t want to be here. We were told upon checkin the hotels pool was out of order which we were looking forward to. That is one of the reasons I booked here. When we went down for breakfast I was VERY disappointed! There was no dry cereal out, there were 2-3 pieces of bread and a few bagels(same type), there was no oatmeal made( had to ask for a packet) and they only had one of a flavor and the rest original only, the water to make the oatmeal was like warm and no microwave to warm it up!. The pancake machine was out of order and there was nothing out in its place. Had to wait for coffee and hot cocoa would t dissolve in the Luke warm water. I will not be staying here again. I was very much looking forward to our stay here.

I hope this email finds you well…. We ended up here caught in a storm and didn’t know where else to go …I just really wanted to reach out to let you know about an employee that has gone above and beyond. Mariana.H at Holiday Inn Express in Batavia deserves a raise or a management position…. She was stuck in the hotel by herself having to deal with the blizzard of the 22…. She has been professional, poised, kind and incredibly empathetic to everyone that has come through her doors. I’m so grateful that my husband, son and I landed in her hotel last night so scared, cold and hundreds of miles from home. She welcomed us to the lobby and eventually when a cancellation came in got us to a room. And she tried to help every single person that came through her doors. She (even at her young age) has and continues to go above and beyond. Thank you Mariana!!

place is understaffed beyond words, very big but unwelcoming. bathrooms are down, place is hectic and dirty. pool is also down. Wow. unless you really have to, don’t stay here. Unprofessional & uncomfortable.

Okay place to stay, we were here overnight on road. Staff very very nice. Room okay, fine, clean, a bit dark but beds comfy. The kind of room where everything is a bit askew, bathroom door shut but difficult, lamp crooked, shower shut off never understood, etc… Slipshod renovation I guess. Standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast. Fridge, kuerig, quiet. We had two queens. Great room for price!
