Just spent a weekend at Castlerosse Park Resort. The setting is beautiful. The staff and facilities were second to none and staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back.

Just back from a 2 night stay with my elderly parents,we have been coming to the castlerosse for the past 10 years approx, rooms were spotless as were all the common areas.
Staff are extremely helpful and kind special mention to Tim & Tracey in the bar, food is fabulous I would highly recommend eating in the restaurant at night!!
Entertainment on both nights was brilliant, already looking forward to our next visit back
Tip;ask for a room close to reception as some of the rooms can be a bit of a long walk especially for the elderly
The good, and not so good

Had a lovely few days with the castlerosse, would return, A more accurate score would be 3.5/5, details and feedback below
The good - Reception staff were wonderful, warm welcome, was able to check in early, the setting around the hotel is just fantastic, our dinner in restaurant and in the bar was very good. Those pizzas are amazing and the steak was perfect, The views from the bar and restaurant over the golf club is spectacular, with lovely entertainment in the evening. Lovely walks around the resort, can even walk the 2km scenic route into Killarney town which felt safe, although once dark, not sure there was any lighting, taxi back is ten euro, Plenty of parking, the hot tub in leisure centre is brilliant, a cosy feel to the communal areas of hotel. Breakfast was lovely, great selection
The not so good - The room, albeit large, was dated with stained carpets, not great for the baby crawling around, aging bathroom / decor, and was cold at times, but the room certainly served its purpose as we didnt spend very much time there with day trips etc, so with that, the price we paid was marginally too high I feel. Some of the staff in other parts of the hotel, at times, seemed disinterested, appreciate the current struggles within the hospitality/staffing sector, and we did have some same staff serve us for breakfast and also dinner, so no doubt tiring and or split days, common im sure in hospitality, but at times felt we were a burden asking for a service, We had a bar transaction on our bill at checkout that had been settled with card at the time so we questioned and was asked if I had a receipt I could show them. It was less than 7 euro, but felt I wasnt quite trusted or something, nevertheless, it was removed and we were able to settle the bill. The leisure centre is sufficient, but needs a facelift in many areas, such as steel rails by hot tub are rusty, broken plastic edges etc, the sauna contains plastic picnic chairs and none of the changing room electric devices seemed to work, hand/hairdryers etc, saying that, the leisure staff were nice and we had a lovely swim
Thanks so much for having us, we enjoyed our stay and will certainly will be back

Just back from a 4 night stay in this fabulous hotel. Delicious food and lovely bedrooms - staff can’t do enough for you. We really enjoyed the pool.
Centrally located, you can walk into the centre and there really is so much to do/see in Killarney. Our fourth time visiting as this hotel is perfectly run with every comfort imaginable.
A lovely hotel this but the rooms really need upgrading.

It is a large complex this offering all types of accommodation. The central core of this hotel is where most of their facilities are concentrated and it is a lovely place to relax and dine. There’s is a lot going on here with dining areas, bar and other facilities spread on two floors. I liked this hotel a lot. The staff were helpful, efficient and lovely people. We enjoyed our meals here and the service and quality were impeccable. A lot of the rooms are a fair old walk from the central core as they fan out on all sides for some considerable distances. Superficially, it overlooks Lough Leane but for all intent and purpose, few rooms will have a view. However, the view from the first-floor dining room is spectacular. Our room was clean, well serviced and comfortable but I have to say that it was very dated, poorly maintained, the bathroom in particular in dire need of refurbishment. For all that, our stay was very enjoyable.
