Our family came from all over to say goodbye to our little one who didn’t live to see this world. The Hotel Goodwin, took care of us far above and beyond the normal service of many hotels. They were kind, they smiled as we entered and smiled each time they saw us. One of the managers was so kind to accept floral deliveries and store them for us until we were leaving for the service. The beautiful rooms, the extra touches, even the signature smell all helped to allow us to relax even though it was a difficult visit. I would highly recommend staying at the Goodwin hotel if you are in the area!

The room, staff, service, and location was wonderful. We stayed in a corner room and it was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The restaurant was outstanding as was the service, portions, and quality. We will definitely be back to stay here, and at a minimum to eat at the restaurant. The service was exceptional.

Perfect choice for visiting downtown Beloit

Beautiful property; well appointed and maintained and so convenient for visiting Beloit College and enjoying the revitalized downtown. Make reservations at the hotel restaurant if you want to dine there; it's very popular. Most appreciative of the shuttle that can pick up from the bus stop in South Beloit and also take you to the College.

I had first discovered Geronimo Hospitality group with my husband (we've stayed at The Delafield and Ironworks Hotel) and we loved it, so I suggested Hotel Goodwin in Beloit as a weekend girls trip that would be a decent midway point for us (she lives in WI, I live in IL). Well, we loved it so much last year that we came back again this year, and will almost certainly comes back again! From service to decor to ambiance (and that divine scent they make!) to fantastic food at Velvet Buffalo and rooftop bar, plus how walkable it is to so much of the cute downtown area, and so much more within 10 minutes driving distance, Beloit and Hotel Goodwin have become our go-to spot! The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms feel more luxurious, and my favorite part, the beds are so comfortable! This latest time, there was a small issue with check in (computer related), so they offered us a glass of champagne while we waited, which was all of 5 minutes! Very classy. Weekend escape with my wife... great hotel...if your not into cookie cutter hotels this is the place to stay ... clean from top to bottom, great staff , roof top bar with live music fun fun fun... restaurant is 5 star
