The self check in worked perfectly. Received the instructions a few days before so that was convenient. The lodge was very clean, everything you need is available. There is parking next to the lodge so no need to worry about that. Would definitely book this again.

Charming & Modern Cabin

Charming cabin with modern hardware and finishes. Staff was fantastic. We had changes to our reservation up to the day prior to check in. The office staff was so flexible and helped us make changes and add guests and accommodations easily. Cabins 6 and 7 were perfect for us and our time in Big Bear. Ample parking, space and bedding. Close to Snow Summit and loved the deck seating area. Thank you Blue Horizon staff for making our snow weekend perfect.

Almost hate to review this place. Great place to stay! Cabin was clean well supplied everything worked! Very nice stay. Management was very helpful and friendly. Grounds were cleaned,snow blown 1st thing in the morning. Lots of room in the cabin no complaints.

What can I say, first time here in Big Bear and definitely Glad i Booked here at Blue Horizon Lodge!! Was beyond my expectations and extremely cozy. Wish I had more time I'd extend my stay! Heater, A/C, Fire place, stove, etc. What more could I have asked for! Great Host Can't recall her name but she was on top of all questions and willing to go beyond to help since it was our first time here in Big Bear. Will Be Coming Back!!

Ok where to start? If I could give it not stars I would! FIrst of all there is no working pool so that is false advertising. The heater worked well and there was a cute bedspread. That is all the good things to say. And it was not filthy but it could be cleaner. I can't even explain the floor. It was so crocked it that if you had been at all under the influence it would have tripped you! YEP!!! The furnuture was so cheap I was afraid I would break it. I am not a super tiny person but I am not that huge either (5'6" 150 lbs) but I would not sit on it! TV was smaller than my computer monitor. Shower curtain was so thin and cheap - not even good enough to be a liner....shall I go on? The price was ridiculous! I would never stay there again! Not sure where all the good reviews came from but I didn't see anything worth coming back to. Sorry. This was cabin #1.
