While traveling cross country my wife and I stopped for a night. It is a new or newly renovated location in a convenient location. The room was clean with good furnishings providing a comfortable nights rest. They still are not serving a hot breakfast which we miss.

Even though I had to kill a big spider in my room, and even though they had to come fix my TV because it didn’t work at first AND even though the coffee pot leaked all over I was still going to give them a pretty good review because the staff was nice and the bed was pretty good. That was BEFORE I went down to breakfast and the cream clabbered in my coffee, no problem,pour it out and make another cup with new cream. WRONG, it clabbers again. Still not really upset, just ask for powdered creamer, WRONG, they don’t have any so when you turn to leave the worker pops off and says it’s only clabbered in yours, nobody else’s. You look around and the only other people there are your two friends and they’re drinking their coffee black. Moral of the story is that there were chunks of clabbered milk floating in both cups of coffee and the kitchen worker was rude because I ask for powdered creamer. Won’t go back .

Horrible, we stayed for the weekend our room was not cleaned. We left the room at 11 to get lunch came back at one and room was still a mess. Beds not done no towels in restroom. I went to the hall way to ask for extra towels as my husband needed to shower and the girl said she didn't have any and she was not assigned our room. When I asked if our room would be cleaned she said ask your girl she is down the hall. I had to get my own towels from the cart. My husband showered and we left for the day. Came back around 8 and our room was still not clean. No new towels nothing . I called the front desk and they said I had to speak to the manager in the morning. When asked what the policy in cleaning rooms they said I dont know you'll have to speak to the manager. so now I have to wait till the morning to get answers. not right at all.

Texas is a Muddy place

Recently I had to attend a funeral in Big Spring, Texas. Not my favorite place to be, but family was important to me. On recommendation from family we stayed at the Sleep Inn. Filthiest hotel I have ever been in. My two sisters and I were first given a room that had a key lock door to the room that was marginally secure. We stayed for three nights over a weekend and there was no housekeeping on Sunday, no towels, garbage collection or bed making. Asked for a different room for the last night. In the hall and in the room, under the beds were clots of mud everywhere. Boots outside rooms caked with mud. Paid too much for this hotel.

We were excited to stay at a new property. The lobby was very modern and the staff was friendly The front desk staff was kind enough to suggest restaurants in the area I will definitely stay here again
