Where do I start??? From walking into the room, we looked outside the window to see our view of the tower, all we got was some dirty back alley and NO view of the tower which we we’re disappointed. We opened the window a little bit, dropped our bags and went. When we arrived back into our room, we decided to open the curtains to find the window wide open. My partner then went into the bathroom to discover a 💩 down the toilet, which was NOT ours. We then saw a crack in the basin, shower was unclean, towels had a blood stain on. There was a random board at the side of the bed, stains on pillow and disgusting carpet. This was mine and my partners first break away on our own, but we was so upset and uncomfortable we just couldn’t stay there. So my partners parents had to fork out another £50 out of their hard earned money to book us into a new hotel, just so we felt comfortable. We went down to reception to tell them we were leaving as we didn’t feel comfortable and explained why, they then told us we were lying, regardless of the proof of pictures shown. We then asked for a refund and they refused as we apparently used the room for 5 hours, even though we never even stayed in our room as we went out for food and to explore the amenities, whilst looking for a new hotel to stay in that night. Do NOT recommend it, ruined mine and my partners break away as we spent half of that day finding a new hotel. We SHOULD be guaranteed a refund or at least half of the money back.

NO View (As stated) NO Breakfast offered but on website Brown stain in Toilet Cracked sink Sunken bed Wooden boarding side of bed ?? Rude staff member Did not feel safe so we left after a few hours (Booked different accomadation) Avoid Was told no refund before we even went it to room.

This hotel completely scammed me, and I can see that they have done it to others too! I rang to cancel and they acted like they were doing me a favour saving the room for a night as I was poorly and might feel better... they reassured me that the price would NOT be any different (£50)! So I attempted to ring them 10 TIMES and they didn’t answer once and then charged my card with the full amount of my stay! They told me to deal with it through booking.com who have basically no authority to do anything!
Unkempt, old and poxy
Booked this for my family for the weekend, this hotel is a total catfish compared to the photos from when you are booking. For a start the outside of the hotel is barbie pink and paint is chipping off. Rooms are outdated, furniture old and cracked. Carpets old and dirty. Beds old and marked. Rooms too small for families. would not recommend at all sorry, please avoid. The only positive is location is good and lady who runs it is nice
Very friendly
Just got back from staying the weekend with my boyfriend and was made to feel very welcome, lovely room that was true to description would recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. Lovely couple that run it and make you feel at ease and can't do enough for you. Location is great and you're close to everything with plenty to do.
