O hotel tem uma decoração clássica e se parece muito com um castelo francês (como o nome diz) O staff é bem atencioso e os quartos são espaçosos e aconchegantes. O local é bem próximo de lojas como Best Buy, TJ Max e outras. Também conta com um Pub em seu interior que fica aberto até as 23h.

No water!?!??? DO NOT STAY HERE.......

If you are checking into a hotel, you would expect that the people at the front desk would tell you that there was no water in the hotel until an hour later. After we got all of our things into the room -- turned on the faucet -- NO WATER --- went to the front desk -- OMG -- forgot to mention the water will be on at 2:30. It was now 2:00. We went and did a few things --- came back at 2:45 -- is the water on??? Nope -- and dont know when it will be on --- REALLY -- you cant even use the bathroom. We checked out and they credited our entire amount (only reason that I gave it more than 1 star). The hotel is OLD OLD OLD -- not like before. Parking lot is full of potholes, flooring is dirty. I booked this because I thought it was the hotel I remembered when it was Jumers --- NOT..... The only reason I dont give this hotel 1 star is because the hotel staff were very nice,.

The Chateau is the former Jumers in Blooomington but now it just is really rundown. There are signs on the front door about the roof being replaced and the pool is also being worked on. It looks like they are trying to bring this place back but it is a long trip. The first room they gave us was on the first floor (actually the basement) and it was so moldy down there we had to move. The second room on the 4th floor was okay. The free breakfast was also okay with eggs, bacon ,biscuits and gravy. I would wait until construction was done before trying this place again.

I stayed at The Chateau while in town on a business trip, & was incredibly impressed with the staff throughout my stay. They were very friendly & welcoming, & they went above & beyond to make sure guests had a great stay. Wonderful staff experience!

We really enjoyed staying in a hotel that wasn't a cookie-cutter chain. Our room was clean and pleasant. Yes, it needs updates - more outlets, somewhere for the coffee center besides the sink counter, walls/curtains/etc., are dated. They are working on that. But the value was excellent and my sister and I had an excellent stay.
