Hotel deixou a desejar, totalmente diferente das fotos. Tem uma outra parte do hotel do outro lado da rua com restaurante, massagem e a cesso a praia. Porem é mal iluminado, as mesas dos restaurantes quase caindo e as areas de lazer sem placas. No site dizia que o acesso a internet era pra todo o hotel, principalmente nos quartos, mas vieram com a desculpa que a net nao estava funcionando, somente na recepção. Fora que a vista do quarto era uma arvore bem na frente da varanda.

Covid may have a part to play in the horridness of this hotel but from previous reviews (which i wish i had seen earlier) it seems like this hotel is downright awful and the management knows it.
Upon arrival to check-in at 1pm, no staff were present at the reception. It seemed liked a ghost town, understaffed and under-maintained. We waited for 20mins before 1 of its only staff in the entire hotel appeared. We knew we were in for a bad experience
Room was terrible. Old, broken and had insects all around. We booked a villa with the pool and the pool was dirty. A pond outside the room seemed to have stale water and was absolutely not maintained. There was also an old musty smell to the room. Air conditioning was leaking and wifi was not working.
The toilet had one bathtub which was elevated so low that water would spray around the entire toilet if u attempted to use the shower head. We had to do so because the shower itself was located outdoors where a giant tree was planted in the middle of the shower.
Staff was decent but it was obvious they were under staffed and had no support from the management team. It seemed like the management did not even care.
Asked for a refund for 2 nights and didnt get it. Upon reading the reviews, it seems like some others got their refund. Should have tried harder.... staff were not surprised by our experience (surprise surprise).
Not worth the money. Dont bother staying here unless its dirt cheap. They dont care about you, so you shouldn’t either.

Hi, I would like to say I was there at Bhundari Villas with my wife and we read bad reviews but I must say me and my wife were EXTREMELY happy with the exceptional service we received! From the top to bottom the staff and management were so friendly specially Francis and Konuk, and Yasin also known as (Icy) the reception staff went to the shop and even bough an adapter to make our stay comfortable and special please do not think otherwise, me and my wife have stayed around the world I.e Dubai, Morocco, Egypy, France, London also where we live and I must say they have a world class service here and highly recommend this Villa, they also did alot of complimentary thanks to Konuk and Francis for making our stay REALLY special... this holiday will be one to remember so guys if your in Koh Samui this is the place to stay!

Absolute worst experience of our lives

A long review, but please take the time to read as our experience here was horrid!
My partner and I arrived at Bhundhari for what should have been a three night stay in a Oceanview Pool Villa.
We arrived after 8pm after the hotel failed to remember to pick us up from the airport - we waited for over an hour,even after the airport information staff called the hotel on our behalf. There was no apology from the driver or from staff upon check in who stated we had never booked an airport transfer and that it would be an extra cost to us. To their apparent surprise, it was in fact organised and included in our stay, which I showed to them in our bookings I had a copy of. Again, no apology or acceptance of their mistake.
Staff then explained that each time we wanted to come to and from our room we would need to notify them and they could take us from reception via a golf cart. We were initially confused and explained we would be happy to walk, we then saw why they offered the golf cart... The entire resort is set on a HUGELY steep hill which is virtually un-walkable. Our room was literally the most far from reception as well, right at the top of the hill. I am not scared easily, but I was genuinely worried during the golf cart ride that with both of us, the driver and all of our luggage, the cart would tip over the incline was so steep! It was awful.
THE ROOM / ROOM SERVICE MEALS
Upon getting to our villa, it was immediately apparent that it was extremely run down, and the photos on their website advertising the room were taken when the place was first built. Everything was worn and torn and showing serious age. We also noticed the room we had booked and paid for was not what we had been given. Our oceanfront view was non-existing and the only view we had was the back of another building. At first we decided to move past all we had found and give it a chance. We decided after 24 hours of travelling we would stay in for the night and order room service - big mistake! Both of our meals were inedible, basic chicken Pad Thai, my partner became ill the following day as well from eating the half that he did.
As we began trying to settle in, we noticed bugs and lizards in the room, trying to move past this I got into bed. I then found the bed sheets had many stains on them, consistent with lizard poo or similar - I don’t even want to know what it was! I turned the TV on that looked like it was straight from pre 2000s, there was not one watchable channel as the picture quality was so bad and there were no channels available with anything showing in English. My partner then used the bathroom to shower, immediately noticing that it was absolutely filthy. The hot water did not work, we ran it for over 15 minutes, and the water pressure was non existent. It was then that several cockroaches appeared as my partner picked up his towel, all scattering out from underneath where it was folded up! The fridge was not plugged in and everything inside was warm - we did not want to know how long it had all been sitting there.
The following morning we had decided we were not going to stay at the hotel any longer as the state of the room was completely unacceptable and ruined our entire first night away. I approached reception and told the young man of our experience and that I wanted to speak to a manager about a refund for the upcoming 2 nights we had booked. Honestly, as I explained all of the issues we had found in our room, the man did not seem one bit surprised and almost seemed like he had heard it all before. We were shocked. I am honestly never one to complain but the hotel was unlike anything we had experienced before and we did not want to have travelled all the way from Australia to stay in revolting accommodation.
He initially told me after looking at our booking that it was non-refundable as we had booked through a booking website. I politely continued to tell him that this was not good enough and requested to speak to a manager. After approximately 20 minutes I spoke to a manger via the phone, he stated he was too busy to attend, and explained the situation and expressed how upset we were. He again proceeded to tell me it was a non refundable booking but he would upgrade us to another villa, this conversation went on for over 15 minutes. I declined this offer and explained we wished to move on. After another 20 minute wait, I spoke with him on the phone again and he offered me one night refund. I explained again this was not good enough as we had only stayed 1 night, which I was more than willing to pay for, and was still rightfully requesting 2 nights refund. He then immediately agreed to organise 2 nights refund. It appeared as though he was trying to negotiate with me to see what money they could get away with keeping!
After this we couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
Please please avoid this hotel at all costs. There was not one good thing about it. Upon returning to Australia I mentioned our experience to a close friend who immediately recognised the hotel name as somewhere she had stayed with her family 6 years ago where they had the same dreadful experience - some just do not learn!

I stay on new year night, there is aware some night for me. Best location and traditional room style. room was nice clean and quiet place. Very helpful staff with big smile. There is small gulf car are always available who still on hill side. But when the rain they used 4 wheel car to climb up. The staff informed me that gulf car can’t run on raining. Only by 4 wheel car. Delay a bit to pick up me. But reasonable and not always raining. Over all, the best choice to stay of the new year for me.
