We had one night in Boise before our flight, and this hotel fit the bill. Beds were super comfy. Had a free frittata breakfast in the morning. It’s got a quirky retro vibe. I wouldn’t stay here for a romantic getaway, but for one night in the city, it was great.

I always chose to stay at the Modern when in Boise. It’s clean and stylish, with great amenities like a sweet courtyard, bar/restaurant, and a free quality breakfast. It’s within walking distance to great restaurants.

Affordable, clean hotel that only takes a couple minutes of walking to get to heart of downtown. Nice, helpful staff available to assist with any needs. Nice, small bar/restaurant area with great drinks and service.

Fantastic refurbished historic hotel. Clean and comfortable room with amazing walk-in shower. Perfect location, 10-minute walk to the heart of action in Boise and a five minute bike ride to the greenbelt trail. Free bikes were great for exploring the city. The hotel's bar and restaurant serves delicious cocktails and the best meal in town. Best meal in Boise, by far. Staff is friendly and well-trained to respond to guest needs and provide information. A unique hotel experience. We will return!

Best Place to Stay (and eat) in Boise

If you're going to Boise, I'd highly recommend this hotel. The service is excellent, the location to downtown is great, and the restaurant has amazing food. Rooms are comfy and spacious and if you're gluten-free, you can eat at the restaurant as they know how to prep if you're eating with Celiac disease.
