There are better hotels to be found

Avaliou em 1 de agosto de 2022

The views of the sea from the balcony are beautiful. The restaurant across the road is owned by the hotel and their pizza is very tasty. However, there are lots of aspects of the hotel that need improvement. The hotel is basic and dated. The WiFi is very slow, especially in the upper floors, it needed to be rebooted several times. The receptionist is friendly but is hard to find, often not at her desk. Breakfast is poor, just bread, cheese and ham. There is a smell of drains from the bathroom into the room. The decor in the room is very bare and dated, and layout needs to be improved. The bed is uncomfortable. The jacuzzi is broken. It is a functional hotel, but for a 4 star rating, it falls short.

Bad service and careless staff/family.

We arrived 14th of august. Had booked balcony and seaview which costs extra. Given a key up on arrival and told to push button S1 in the elevator. That took us to the basement..So went up stairs and told the lady in the reception that we had booked balcony and seaview. So told us there was an overbooking and bla, bla. Wonder why she didnt tell us right away when we arrived?? I said we would very much like the room we had booked. After phone calls and a wait we were given a room on the first floor…. Balcony yes,,, but partially sea view. She said she would contact us within 2 days , and then it would maybe be possible to put us on a higher floor with sea view. Been here 3 days, havent heard anything yet. Dont excpect to either. Its a family run hotel, which we normally love and book all over the world because of the atmosphere ; your home away from home. Wel, not this family run place. We got no info concerning breakfast, which we also paid for. Went down to have breakfast across the street at 8am. One man working, and he is working hard!! Thumbs up! But no way he can keep up, and no one is there to help. The music at breakfast is loud heavy rock - enjoy while you wait one hour…We like to get up and about on vacation, but it takes one hour to get breakfast. Yes, we took the time. So made the order at 08.06am, got breakfast at 09 am. So my suggestion is; do not book breakfast, make your own in the room. It will save you an hour and money. And if you have booked a tour or something else, wel you want make it anyway, because breakfast takes the whole morning. Family run.. but no one helps out…. If you like butter on your toast or bread- they dont have it and they wont get it the day after either..they dont care. The pool is supposed to close at 19pm, but people and children are swimming at 9pm. No one cares about the noise.. and Im wondering; when do they clean the pool? The electrisity went out, it happens , no one is to blame. So no complaint , of course. When it came back after an hour or so the aircondition didnt work. They said they would fix it, so we went out to dinner. Came back in the evening…guess what?? No one had been there to fix it. There is 2 positive things I would like to mention; 1. Location of the hotel is perfect! 2. Its clean! The cleaning lady is a miracle! Smiling and working hard. We still have a few days left here at beautiful Brac and Bol, we love the Island and would love to come back. But we will not stay at this hotel again. (For some people money is all that matters, no integrety. Its just sad. ) There are so many other family run places to stay at! 4 more days at this hotel and sadly no excpectations. If anything changes my husband and I will of course follow up here at Tripadvisor👍

We had a pizza as you can eat in Italy!! They make pizza in a wood oven and absolutely in Italian way. Server was very friendly, next time we will try pasta they have the most popular pasta in the menu. Thank you very much for this special experience. See you very soon

Cosy little hotel

Avaliou em 23 de novembro de 2018

Happy to have chosen this small hotel in Bol rather than the more fancy upscale ones. Breakfast (although really basic and nothing special in terms of food) in the garden under fig trees, great seaside view from the balcony, relaxed atmosphere overall. It is nothing fancy, but if you don't demand much and just want to relax, this is perfect.

Excellent food and service

We ate here at lunch time on two days of our three day stay in Bol. Popped in mainly for a drink to cool the kids down after a morning at the beach, but decided to have a quick look at the menu. Ordered two pizzas, which the staff were more tghan happy for us to share between the four of us. Had margarita and Hawaii and the second day margarita and a mushroom - so tasty - our daughter who isnt a huge pizza fan demolished hers. Beers were better than most places we had them and the place is nice and shady. Extremely reasonable prices - 40kn for margarita - and the staff were very friendly and professional. Some of our best eating experiences whilst in Croatia.
