We booked this hotel for a night whilst seeing a concert. Booked via booking.com and got a triple room and a single room for £72 the booking.com reviews weren't to bad however the day before we came I decided to look here and was horrified! We were ready to sleep in the car and not even bother with the hotel but I'm so glad we decided we'd check it out....little faffle on check in with the staff looking for our key but they were super helpful and friendly....room was actually nice and clean! Okay the carpets a little outdated and has a few stains but the beds were clean and fresh...very comfortable mattresses ( these looked new) TV with Netflix etc worked brilliantly no issues with the WiFi....we opted to leave breakfast as it was £10 pp which seemed a little steep to be honest. Nice cosy bar stocked with plenty of options. Brilliant place for a night away and we'd definitely stay again

Booked online because it sounded really nice. WHAT A SHOCK. Upon arrival we was met by im guessing the owner. I asked what times the bar open until. "Sorry its not open until june" why advertise it then. "Laughs" I ask what times breakfast " not sure if the chef will be in " Walk into our room and there are cobwebs in every corner of the room. The shower im surprised I've not 3rd degree burns after it kept going hot and cold. If your taller than 5ft 7 your not getting into the shower. All night the owner kept knocking on doors and talking loudly on the landing waking our 10 month old daughter up. Cups for the tea/coffee are dirty. Worst night sleep we have had for 10 months. Wake up in the morning and find a fag nub on the carpet down the side of the bed. No free view and the Internet is supposed to be fast speed. Its not even worth using it. The owner should change everything in this place and change his description of this hotel. Nothing in the description is correct and DEFINITELY WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

After staying here in August, and being promised a refund for the breakfasts that they were unable to provide, 9 breakfasts in total...fancy that still NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Worst place ever, DO NOT STAY HERE - This has been reported to environmental health. Customer Service was non existent, room was dirty, disgusting and unhygienic. DO NOT STAY HERE - you are risking your health.

A Spa only in name... In a nutshell, if its the last resort... Dont go. A £105 per night BnB plus £5 pp for breakfast, which was massively overpriced (See image) , it definately is NOT!! I've spent the whole night, yep all night thinking about what I'm going to write. ITS THAT BAD! Rather than ramble and complain, I'll just summerise. Here goes... The Staff - Polite, unhelpful, not interested The Bar - 🤔 😂 Joke The Hotel - Location to the beach is good and it's a relatively quiet area. Its an old hotel with every floorboard creaking, you can hear everything. The owners have crammed in at least 14 rooms using a lot of uninsulated drywall to create them. The Room - Clean and large enough for two. Shower dripped all night. Only one bedside table and a side lamp where the bulb pokes out the top of the shade! Its a little bit like a prison cell with a teeny tiny window. The Bed - Its like sleeping on a kingsize piece of wood with a hundred open tin cans with a blanket thrown over the top. We felt EVERY SPRING and I mean EVERY one of them. Needing chiropractor after this one See Image). Room 11 stay away. Summary. When I complained about the bed he just smiled at me and said 'Sorry'!!. Don't get me wrong, I've really roughed it at times on my travels but to pay this much.. Nah forget it, Its not worth it! If its the only place, think of your back! I understand its been rough for hoteliers and the like but come on, there's no incentive here to return. Expected more for this price. Spend the money somewhere else. If i could rate minus, I really would.
