Exceptional People, Comfort & Hospitality on a Budget

The Honeysuckle Inn is a lovely place! Immaculately clean, so very comfortable, laid out beautifully, but, the very best part is the amazing staff! David and Paulette, the reservation/desk/concierge staff are absolutely the dearest people! We were there for a girls’ adventure. Our dear friend is in Hospice care and we wanted her to have this special trip. The ordinarily 3 hour trip, took much longer because we needed to stop several times. David suggested we stop for dinner along the way as “sit-down” restaurants in Branson would be closed before we could get there. Once there and checked in, we couldn’t get the TV to work. David came to fix it before his shift was over.
Paulette was amazingly helpful with directions and pointing out particular sights, also, knowing that our friend in Hospice care is a card player, she gifted her with a special Branson deck!
Tabatha, in housekeeping, not even assigned to our room, was kind enough to give us extra towels (3 women need lots of towels)! And take our picture!!!
The breakfast buffet left a little to be desired, but the lady attending it absolutely bent over backwards to help at every juncture.
Keep in mind that this is not the Lodge of the Four Seasons BUT it was wonderful for us! Very reasonably priced, immaculately clean, very comfortably and with THE MOST hospitable staff anyone could imagine!
It's gone completely down hill!

Let me start with, these are just some of the complaints we received from our group.
The hotel has gone from good to the worst there is in a matter of a 5 year span. We book most of the hotel's rooms on several occasions for several events we hold in Branson each year. Over the years it's gone from good to the worst in Branson. Dirty towels left in rooms from previous guests, filthy, wet carpets that left the bottom of ones feet literally black. They advertise WiFi, that's BS, We had 80 plus rooms booked there recently, it was nonexistent, WASN'T ANY WiFi period! The breakfast at the Honeysuckle, the biscuits were hard, the muffins were raw in the middle, the sausage was literally rancid, it had a rotten smell, the bacon had an odd color, and was limp as a noodle. In addition there ants at registration where the free cookies and coffee are located. The majority of my group went to I hop. Many complained to management, as did I, not one issue was corrected by management, in fact, management didn't seem to care.
We were also told the rates were being increased. All I could do was LAUGH!
When my family & I are in Branson for pleasure, the Honeysuckle was our home away from home for the last 6 years....
We are Very disappointed in what use too be a well run family business. It has sold and appears to not care about customer service, the quality or condition, of the hotel.
clean and close to most things

This is an older motel, a throw-back to the motor courts that were popular in the early days of Branson. The inn was very understaffed during this "post covid" situation where people don't want to work, but management hustled to help clean rooms and accommodate our large group. Some of our group had issues with the A/C or other appliances, but my room was just fine. Some on the bottom level complained that people and noise from the second floor kept them up at night, a common problem in older, poorly insulated inns. The inn has been updated in recent years and is nice and clean. In-room amenities are few and housekeeping is not available at present, so no refreshed towels. A standard hotel breakfast was served each morning. Coffee and tea are available in the office lobby all day. Vending machines are present for soft drinks and snacks. The pools and hot tub were clean.

Kris Maples and her staff were awesome. They were very short staffed but everyone of them worked very hard and helped each other to make sure that our group had.whatever we needed. It felt good to see people that cared about doing a good job and not to be to good to do any job that needed done. Already set up our room for next year. Will look forward to seeing Kris and the gang! They make you feel like family.
Thanks. Papa Smurf & Karen

The hotel was nice, the staff was helpful and very nice. The rooms were clean and tidy. Due to Covid the cafeteria was closed so breakfast was not available.
The location of the hotel is on the corner of Hey.76 and Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. The location is only 3 miles from SDC. There is shopping and a multitude of restaurants nearby.
Thanks to the staff.
