Worst experience
They tried to charge me double what I reserved. I sat in their parking lot fir 3 hours trying to resolve the issue with customer service because the actual person at the desk didn’t know what to tell me. Finally put a lock on my credit card and went somewhere else. Then they tried to charge me for a no show but thankfully my credit card declined the charge. OYO is the worst. NEVER STAY AT ONE!
Couldn't Even Check-In
So we booked two rooms through booking.com in April of 2000 due to family being in the area. Due to the issues with Covvid 19 we called on September 2nd to verify that our reservations were still good and were advised that no issues and our rooms were reserved. Our credit card was charged on September 7th for the full amount of the 2 rooms for 3 nights. On September 9th approximately 45 minutes out from Branson my wife was called and advised that they would not be honoring any third party bookings and our reservation was cancelled. No assistance in finding anywhere else to stay or explanation. We were told we would get a refund in 10-15 business days and good luck. Fortunately we were able to find another hotel and booking.com helped with the difference in price. Very unhappy with this experience and will avoid this chain in the future.
Family and friend vacation
Room was booked last minute and was super cheap! We arrived about 10:30 pm. And had to call and wait for the front desk for several minutes. When she arrived she seemed very irritated, but was really nice the rest of the time. The hotel was creepy and completely disgusting. On the way to the room the hallway had stuff all over the carpet that remained there the entire stay (2nights) so obviously was not vacuumed at all. Had a funky smell. As we got to the room the tv was on, and that kinda threw us off. It was weird. Roaches in the room, stains all over carpet, smelled, and was scared to even lay on the bed. We endured bc it was super super cheap. Won’t be back. It was terrible and I can’t believe we even stayed.
Convenient, good looking
It's a good hotel in the middle of the town. I don't recall anything specifically bad about the place, but it wasn't as impressive inside as it looks good on photos. Room was average, pretty simply decorated.
Branson's armpit... No deodorant!
Well, I will start this by saying grittythat the whole front desks staff seem very unkept and unprofessional, they were polite the entire stay. Now to the nitty gritty! First, the many unpleasant smells include musty, dusty, dirty, and moldy. The air conditioner kicks in and smells like it hasn't been cleaned since 1995. The carpet is gross and has visable stains and stinks. We wanted to go swimming but the pool looks like it is half filled with green jello and dirt. There is literally water damage almost everywhere in and out of the room. Missing and mismatched light bulbs in the bathroom. Broken and misaligned bathroom door to the point you physically cannot close it or lock it. One of the power outlets was dead so all lights, TV, and clock would not work until I plugged everything in to a different one. I'm glad I didn't need to iron anything as apparently it either is missing or cost extra fire the ironing board. I felt like i might get hepatitis from the ice machine. Thankfully I just had my shots for that. The "breakfast" consists of hostess mini doughnuts, some plain bread, and cold English muffins. I forgot to mention the coffee was extra crunchy with all of the grounds in it. I don't want to think about the beds... I feel itchy. The only thing good was that they allowed our service animals to be with us. I will never, ever, ever, ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone including my enemies. I'm going to take a long hot shower for an hour to get the gross off of my body. :(
