Terrible management
Upon staying in August everything was fine until the ceiling (which clearly had already been leaking by the soaking wet carpet and pealing ceiling) started leaking again. Right next to a power point. Prompted an earlier than expected check out, hotel staff were not helpful. And since reporting it to hotel management twice have not had any response over 2 months ago
2 visits in a week!
My husband and I were staying in Broadstairs for a week and decided to try the hotel especially as we had seen queues outside previously. Friendly welcome and shown to a nice table outside. This was on a very warm evening so was lovely to be able to do this. Food great and service quite quick. We returned the following evening and sat inside and the waiter was very obliging and the food just as good. Prices reasonable and presented well in pleasant surroundings.
A night from home
I live in broadstairs and just wanted to do the offer of DBB £99. BUT The evening meal was luke warm and not cooked very well. Staff aren’t that helpful! I have noticed this over the last two years that the service had gone down hill, staff are not that friendly and look miserable.
Late Break
Had a four day stay at the Albion hotel .on booking .com the hotel has parking which is a total lie. The hotel does not service your room .even the staff do not mention this as you check in. So you pay top price accomdation and breakfast to find out it's all a DO IT YOURSELF when you come back after a long day sightseeing. Remember if you have a room facing the street you will be woken up by night revellers who ate drink or the early dustbin collections who puck up the empty bottles from the resturants. Enjoy the noise at 5.25am.
First Class
We had two rooms on first floor. Both decorated nicely, with large showers and superb sea views.Very comfortable beds. Staff, particularly Helen on reception, were very attentive and friendly. We had breakfast on the terrace. Lots of choice on the menu and all well cooked. If anything, portions were a bit too generous. The terrace was quite a suntrap and perfect for an early evening or lunchtime drink. All staff were very COVID aware and lots of systems in place to make customers feel safe. Can't wait to return.
