Location is convenient.Said that, what defines our experience is the completley lack of everything one can expect from a vacation place. First of all, and the most important to us: lack of kindness of "Administrador" . He was so rude that even if the place would have been beautiful, I have already decided not to give it a second chance. Check in was a kind of orders as if we were annoying him. But the place is terrible. Lack of maintenance, the bathroom lacks cleanness and the place has many dirty stains and one door has no latch. One has to ask for the hairdryer. The room where it is suppoosed to sleep four persons has no fan (the one there does not work) and bed cover is torn. Everything looks in decay, towells , perhaps, used to be white but they were yellow and stained. You have to wait to the manager to make your check out and he did not allow us to leave before ten in the morning. Is this a Posada or a prison? I can not believe the misbehaving of the staff. But the concierge did not care. I did not find breakfast good: coffe is not such and even if we asked milk they brought only some milk to have with coffee. No fruits. I wanted to stay in cariló to be with my family but the place was terrible.

The hotel is FULL OF COCKROACHES. We killed 4 in our entire stay until today 4/5/2021 which is 3:20 in the morning and we woke up with one inside our bed alive walking through our bodies. truly embarrassing given the high price we paid for our stay that they can't even have a plague controlled like this. We don't usually make these types of complaints but the reality that waking up with a live cockroach in our bed is intolerable. We had to leave the hotel at 4 in the morning and we left for Carilo. As another triper said , the only positive about our stay was the breakfast which was abundant and of good quality for Argentine standards and that's pets frnedly.

The only positive about our stay was the breakfast which was abundant and of good quality for Argentine standards. The cabins are old and not well maintained. Equipment is not working there is No airco anywhere. Spaces are very small including the beds. Bathrooms are too small to take a decent shower and haven’t seen maintenance for a long time. To make things worse there seems to be a problem with cockroaches. We have had several visiting our kitchen. WiFi is not working in all cabins. Swimming pool area was not kept clean and the water was dirty. In conclusion, way too expensive for what is offered.

My family and another family stayed at the Posada del Bosque for 4 days at the beginning of January 2019. Unfortunately, I must report that this is one of the worst places I have stayed in all my life. The "Cabaña" where we stayed (El Jacinto and that of the other family “Jazmin”) are very beat up, without any minimum and decent maintenance. At our arrival, there was dust and dirtiness everywhere. The bathroom was small, smelly (due to bad water flow) and full of humidity. We had to call in a plumber to repair the WC. The bathroom shower head is rusty. The shower curtain is full of humidity as the ceiling and borders of the bathroom. Other problems included, insects, bad cleaned floor, overall general decay in the décor and set-up broken lights in each room, mal functioning refrigerator, dirty stairs, patio/deck and outside chairs. Towels were stained. When we complained at the concierge, the only person in charge was not able to help us but simply stated that the cabanas had not been renovated yet… In addition to this lousy stay, when we asked to get back the VAT (that is not supposed to be paid by foreigner tourists in Argentina) we were forced to waste an entire morning in Buenos Aires to get our money refunded. This is definitely not the right place to spend your vacation if your goal is to find a clean and comfortable hotel.
well located place in Carilo

We stayed here for three nihgts at the end of summer. Location is one of the best items of the place: two blocks away from the local commercial area, (but not noisy) and three blocks away from the beach. Beach services were provided but at another hotel five blocks away . All this amid beautiful pine trees. The pool is warm and usually visited by families up to seven in the evening. The rooms are average size and although well provided deserve some renovation (painting, TV sets ...) Our rooms didn t have air conditioning, just roof fans. Internet was provided but varied from room to room. The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful . Breakfast was very good (sorry american tourist: they don t offer fresh fruits, just juice, but the bread and croissants are incredible) There s also a place for barbecues at every unit.
