Location out of nowhere, sarcastic reception lady and the worst bed ever

the spa is nice. hotel is closed to the beach but... 1. the worst hotel bed ever..too soft..got me a back pain. cant sleep the whole night. 2. hotel location is out of nowhere. there is no taxi or shuttle bus available. when we want to go to hotel, one of the hotel staff was very kind to p9ck us up near bus station otherwise we will need to walk in the rain. But when we checked out today, the old lady at the receptionist cpunter was unfriendly and didnt care on how should we can go to the bus stop. She said in cynical way..welcome to rural area of Zeeland. Basically she said : we, hotel, dont care on how you can go out of this hotel. Good luck finding ur transportation" She didnt even help to look for taxi whatsoever. We need to walk 40 min to the bus station with our luggage. we were lucky enough it wasnt rain. The bus run only every 2 hours on Sunday. No taxi, no uber , no shuttle bus. Terrible experience. Once is enough to visit this hotel. Never again.

Relaxing weekend

Great hotel. Nice room: clean, spacious, good bed. Large bathroom with shower AND bath. Maybe provide more toilettries? Body lotion, toothpaste? About 20 min walk to beach (long beautiful path through the dunes). Good breakfast.

We stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is new and in a great shape. Our room was quite big and nice. Breakfast had all we wanted and more. I did not give 5 Stars since the service is still worth to improve. People try to do their best but it seems that not all processes are well defined

Disappointing Stay

When the greeting starts with "You are early", you can already guess what the service will be like. As the rooms were not ready yet (which is ok), we had to take the luggage back to the car: No storage available and of course no offer to help with the bags. The rooms were not very clean and the dirt on the floor was still there 2 days later. The gym equipment was ok but towels were not available. Almost all breakfast items were packaged (not very sustainable) and not all items were automatically replenished. You had to ask for a croissant and then got exactly one piece (with a full basket which was in the open kitchen). Service and cleanliness not up to the standard!

A dream location for an average hotel

It is a wonderful 10 minutes walk through the dunes from this hotel to a glorious beach. The hotel itself looks nice, if a bit fake fancy. We had a superior room, comforatably big with a nice terrace. The sauna installation downstairs is pleasant, the gym is tiny. It is the kind of place where they have all kind of offers (coupons and so) but then you must completely keep to the rules as to where the offer is for or you get a negligible discount. That is of course their right, but I just find that always a bit cheap. There is an open kitchen and you would imagine a better cuisine than what it turns out to be. Breakfast is quite OK. There are great bikes and bike paths. I would go back after lockdown time but certainly not eat there anymore.
