Stayed here 3 nights in July. It is a very quaint hotel with lovely features and beautiful grounds and views. Food was lovely. Staff very friendly and welcoming. It is obvious they work hard. Would benefit from the trees being cut if possible to aid the view from the balcony rooms.

A nice small hotel with great staff

This hotel is nicely decorated with comfortable areas inside and out where you can sit and relax with a coffee or something stronger. We had a room with a small balcony with views overlooking the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh across the water. The room was small but had everything you needed. The shower room was modern and had a fantastic shower. Everything was clean enough. The breakfast was really good. It was freshly cooked using fresh tasty ingredients. We had dinner here three nights as there isn't much choice in Burntisland. The menu is not extensive but the food was lovely and the hard working staff were very friendly polite and helpful. The only downside I could mention would be the very creaky floorboards and the thin walls but it didn't spoil our stay. The main road and train line both run past the hotel and can be very noisy but it quietens at night so you can sleep easy.

Saturday 30th of August, Myself and my husband were on our way home and decided to grab a bite to eat at the kingswood on way home. We had not booked a table but the manager "Callum" was so welcoming and got us seated no problem. The food was fantastic and it was lovely inside the conservatory for dinner, a wee bit of a change. Callum seems to have the waitresses well trained, they were both so happy to help with anything possible. He also was professional in his work and was lovely to not only us but to everyone at dinner. "A diamond made from stone". Keep him at all costs kingswood hotel! Will defo be back again soon!

Charming Scottish Hotel

Stayed here 18-21 July 2022, three of the hottest days in recent times. Hotel is charming, quaint, traditional and we really enjoyed all it had to offer. Staff are lovely, balcony room great, delicious food, grounds stunning to sit in. I would suggest some trimming of the trees to give a wider view of the Firth of Forth from balcony rooms but this may not be possible. Also, a return to an element of buffet style breakfast where guests can help themselves to juices etc would be an advantage but there may be reasons why this has not been reinstated. I can't understand any negative reviews of this hotel. It is very reasonably priced for these times and offers a traditional experience in a beautiful setting.

Called in today for lunch. Great service, very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Would definitely go back, and recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely time!!! We would be happy to back again.
