Our group stayed here while we performed our Lions Club mission trip. Very friendly and efficient staff. It is clean and modern. There are gardens and several nice cats. Its an easy walk into town and eateries.

This is a reasonably-priced hotel on the outskirts of Calvillo. But that's not the reason to stay here. You get more valuable things that money just can't buy. The owners are on-site, which makes a huge difference in any business. Pride in their town, pride in their hotel shine through. They speak English as do some of the staff. These people will do anything for you to make your stay more rewarding and pleasant. They are well-versed in the attractions of Calvillo and if you are interested, will take the time to direct you to them. They do more than hand you a map and a smile. They care that you have a good time and get to know their town. The rooms are spacious and everything works. A/C / heat effective. There are USB charging ports built into the wall over the desk. The Wifi is decent and they have 3 range extenders on the property. The beds are good and have box springs, which not all hotels do. The rooms in the back, on the left side of the office are quietest, but there will be some highway noise. That is inevitable these days. Nevertheless, they should be quieter than the ones by the pool. The best thing for you to do, if noise bothers you, is to ask to see a couple of rooms and make your own decision. I was happy in the back and I am picky. There is a small restaurant, currently open only for breakfast. The food was hot, well-prepared and at a fair price. The coffee was stronger than average, though still mild. The staff is attentive and if you lack for anything, just ask.

The hotel had everything it said on the website, the owners were very nice to the guests and the rooms were very spacious and clean. Five minutes away from the city center by car. The breakfast offered at the hotel was really good, mostly typical food but delicious!

Excellent hotel to stay when visiting Calvillo

We fell in love with the very beautiful town of Calvillo and the Hotel Gloria! The hotel has plenty of rooms and all rooms are a good size and very comfortable. We stayed in the Royal Suite and rate it 10/10. The venue is clean and very well maintained with lovely gardens. The pool is very nice on a hot day! The owners are very professional and speak very good English. We also booked the venue for our wedding and 50 guests. We booked the garden/pool area and the function room for the evening dinner and party. Excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent hotel.

During our stay the staff was very attentive and provide options for local attractions. Management was setting up a barbecue area next to the pool to celebrate a family event. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay.
