Nice pet-friendly hotel with really kind and helpful staff. The Amazing 12-century building is located in the middle of nature, making it a perfect place to relax. I also could work remotely in the beautiful and quiet garden, and I enjoyed their traditional delicious food!

We had a wonderful week at the La Sala de Camos. The room was perfect for us as a family of 4 with two sleeping sections and a spacious bathroom. The view from the room was directly to the old church that lies next to the hotel, and there was a great view of the terrasses and the pool as soon as we opened the door. The pool is very children friendly with a deep section one end and a shallow (0,9m) at the other. The food is great and very, very reasonably priced. Local flavours, and good wine to match. And the home made cheese cake is just wonderful. The hosts are the most generous, friendly, helpful, and lovely people, and so were the other guests who stayed there at the same time as us. We almost got invited to a wedding! :-) And our boys made some friends from Switzerland. Our boys were so fond of the hosts Goretti and Catalina that they bought them a little farewell gift. That is a first for us :-) We will definitely return, both for the facilities, but also for the people. It was like staying with family :-)

We booked this hotel with some "reservations". There were very few recent reviews and we wondered whether it might be a little cold or austere, as some places of this type can be. Wow, we could not have been further off the mark. This hotel is so tasteful. The lighting is subtle and perfect throughout the different rooms, lots of lovely lamps and candles everywhere, all so warm and cosy. In the library there's a roaring log fire (in November). Soft music in the restaurant. The food is excellent and, as for service, nothing is too much trouble for the ladies who run the place. The rooms are large, again nicely lit, with comfortable beds. And it's wonderfully silent. I can't imagine anywhere else in the world where you would get such quality for little over E100 per night with dinner. We had planned to stay for three nights and stayed for six. We will be back as often as we can and I'm sure it will be great in the summer when we can use the pool and the garden. Particular thanks to Catalina who works every minute of the day and does such a great job. Lovely place, lovely people.

We were only there three nights but are already planning a return trip for many reasons. Friendly owners, charming facility, great location, comfortable room, lots of local sights, and last but not least great food. Thank you for your care, Antonietta & Douglas.

I loved this place so much - from the eccentric little nooks and crannies to the spectacular gardens. the food was amazing and we were so well looked after - was like our own place and perfect for a getaway!! 10/10 :-)
