Hotel típico de férias americanas. Quartos espetaculares. Uma varanda muito acolhedora. Faz-se uma vida típica de férias. Cap May é um destino perto de New York. Com casas típicas. O hotel só tinha um senão, o pequeno-almoço que era muito fraco.

Perfect Stay for a Long Weekend

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. It was our first time visiting Cape May. The hotel is cute and comfortable with a very friendly and helpful staff. The front porch is the perfect place for pre- or post-dinner drinks with an extensive cocktail list and nice wine selection. You can't beat the location. It's an easy walk to everything. The beach service is convenient and worked well for us. There is the option to have breakfast delivered to your room, and the food options ranged from sweet to savory with juices and coffee. We would stay here again!

My husband really enjoyed the fillet he ordered and my scallops were delicious! I had one of the best Cosmos ever! Our server was attentive and pleasant! The Virginia is a great place to stay and has a wonderful restaurant.

This was our first post-pandemic trip, a girls' weekend to celebrate a miilestone birthday. This visit was fabulous from beginning to end. The concierge contacted me about every week starting a month from our arrival. The staff are professional to a fault, but also friendly and happy, like it is their life's goal to make you content and relaxed. The property is lovely and perfectly maintained and decorated well but not too fussy. It is wonderful to have a bathroom that is as nice as mine at home, with bath products you actually want to use! Breakfast is delicious and varied and served in your room, on the porch, or in the parlor. Coffee/tea and cookies are served at 2, and a "Social Sips" happy hour from 4-5 is wonderful to meet other guests. Dinner at the Ebbitt Room was delicious, with live music at the bar at one end. I have already planned to return with more friends in the fall! Bravo, Virginia!

What a wonderful stay! The service we received (especially from Jack and Jarrett)was impeccable. They don't make them like this any more...LOL... We have been staying with Cape Resorts for well over 18 years now (Congress Hall, Star Inn, Star Inn condos, Beach Shack, The Red Cottage). This was the first time we stayed at The Virginia. I have to say it was our favorite stay. We did not realize that there was no elevator in the hotel and although the room we had on the third floor was AMAZING we appreciate the fact that they were able to swap it for a room on the first floor as my husband was not feeling well and was unable to handle the steps. Breakfast was delectable!!!In years past we enjoyed fruit, granola, toast and hard boiled eggs. This time around we were treated like royalty with the sweet and savory choices of quiche, avocado toast, overnight oats, and home made pastries. I felt so spoiled. I can not go back to cereal now that we are back home. Cape Resorts properties have always been special to us but the small details seem not to have been lost since Covid. In fact it was so nice to be able to get away from it all physically and mentally and forget about COVID if only for a brief moment. We appreciate the fact that The Ebbitt Room had seating that was separated from each other for additional protection and absolutely loved the stocking stuffer we found on Christmas Day. The chicken dish was so yummy probably the best chicken I have ever had. Make sure you try the Banoffee pie for dessert. History, charm, amenities, view, grounds everything is amazing. I cannot write enough positive things about this gem of a place. The only complaint is that it was too short of a stay. Do not miss out if you have an opportunity to stay here!
