Credit Card was charged without my Knowlege/ Permission!!!

My credit card was charged without my permission, after a long back and forth and without apologies the money was returned. The premises are open to people from outside, its not for the guests staying at the hotel only. Hotel charges additional for the hotel to be "exclusively" rented out for events, however, they take the money but its not exclusive since other guests are also there. Not acceptable!!! The rooms are very small and outdated. The hotel is noisy.

Villa Cariola is a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend to stay here. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a terrific view and especially the grassy area where you can relax, next to the pool is as tranquil as it gets. Highly recommended to stay here. Also, don’t be suprised to see many brides and grooms, as it is a popular wedding destination!

Good outside, outdated inside

Hotel area and outside area looks great and has a lot of potential. However, inside the hotel you have the impression that there is lack of investment for the last 20 years: old wooden furniture, dark rooms and nothing really to feel „home“.

I didn’t know what to expect when we made reservations. The moment we arrived I’ve felt that it was going to be a great stay at this Villa. And it really was. I’ve enjoyed the stay the view the food and the service. This place is so beautiful and lovely. I would come back again.

We've been here the second time. The location is 15 km from Garda with great view. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is friendly and always helpful. Parking is just outside the hotel, FOC and partly covered. This year, the swimming pool was open to the public(probably to generate some corona compensation). So there were more people but never over-crowded. THe breakfast was nice as usual, the serving staff at the buffet is a bit strange, but what's not strange this year? Total recommendation...
