O Hotel Ballathie impressiona mesmo quando se chega nos seus arredores. O hotel eh um castelo e tem na sua propriedade um rio e um bosque. O retaurante do hotel serve uma refeicao excelente. Os quartos sao muito bons assim como o atendimento.

O Hotel Ballathie eh magnifico ! Eh um Castelo rodeado por campos muito bem cuidados. O atendimento do hotel eh muito bom. A comida do restaurante eh maravilhosa, mas tem que fazer reserva com antecedencia,pois eh muito procurado. Os quartos sao otimos. Recomendo!

We stayed at the riverside lodge and we loved listening to the birds and the river. The owner and the staff go out of their way to make you feel home from home and relaxed, they are very professional and down to earth and friendly. We ate dinner both nights here and loved every dish. (Pigeon, salmon, tomatoe, lamb, steak, monkfish, passion fruit soufflé, pannaccota. The passion fruit souffle was sensational and we mean that our taste buds were in heaven (I had it both nights and was looking forward to having it again the majority of the next day, in fear of missing out my hubby had it the second night and was amazed). The food was in my opinion much superior to that experienced at the Ritz. The apple smoked butter made on site is Fantastic. Staff are very attentive, they had the balance right you did not feel watched and they ensured you felt comfortable (not snooty like some places can be). The view of the river during breakfast was lovely. The ambiance of the whole site is relaxing. We stayed two night, unfortunately it rained all day but we loved sitting in our room listening to the river and birds and got a sandwich at the hotel. In the morning of departure it was a bright frosty day (typical) we wasted no time and headed for the river guided by the owners tips on seeing the beavers work on the trees. We saw some bull finch and plenty of beaver chomped trees. It is so peaceful, lovely watching fishermen on the red boats. Our room in the riverside lodge was peaceful we slept soundly, lovely and warm lots of storage space. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Bad start with unhappy receptionist when booking got worse when I asked for different price lodges. 'that's our 3 star part' as if we wasn't good enough for them. Never got confirmation on booking despite phoning and requesting it. Stayed in sportsman Lodge. Room was big and had two single beds which for my dad and me was good. Sadly the steps up to the room wasn't the safest especially when they got wet and also didn't seem to stable. Also carpet and sofas stained and bathroom has lots of cracks and unclean in shower. If looking for quiet no good as we had the boiler on and off outside all night very noisy. Gave a sheet on arrival but most was no longer up to date saying they don't do room refresh unless asked however they came in while we was out and despite me leavin the room door closed aswel as the outside they opened both and my dog got out. Luckily she came back. Overall the staff made us feel looked down on and not to their standards and this is only some of issues. Won't be back.

Food of a high standard. Bed large and comfortable Staff professionally friendly but not warmth. Over bath shower a little difficult with aged body. Shower mat slipped Lots to see around and about Stanley Tile works, Blairgowrie good shopping and an excellent deli Perth is nearby with a good wine shop.
