Lovely friendly welcoming lady opened the door to let myself & colleague in for coffee and to use their toilet nothing was too much trouble even when we wasn't guests. Would definitely choose this B&B if staying in Carsile the place was spotless clean and welcoming .

Good Veggie Breakfast

Overall, nice place to stay. The room was large and clean, and we had no problem with noise, as we were not at the front of the building, although it is on a busy road. The breakfast was lovely. They do a really good veggie breakfast, not just a case of "you can have it without the meat" attitude that you get in a lot of places! The host were lovely people. The only downside for me was that the shower room could do with a little upgrading, and I found the mattress a little firm for me - but that is personal taste.

On the whole it was good. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were at the front of the hotel and by a very busy road We were kept awake by the customers of the pub next door and of the people walking by shouting and laughing on their way past. The breakfast was okay but the scrambled eggs were overcooked for my taste

What a find! We only live an hours drive from Carlisle but when we decided to go to the races last minute we decided to stay over so we could both have a drink. The hosts were so welcoming, they had booked us a taxi in advance and accommodated us in a downstairs room as requested. This had a little patio area. The room had a double and a single bed and the bathroom was modern and everything was very clean. Lots of little extras in the bathroom and well stocked tea and coffee….lots of milk! The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, for the price (£70) this was unbelievable value. We will definitely be back, can’t praise them enough 😊

I needed somewhere to stay for one night and happened upon this delightful b&b while browsing the Internet a couple of weeks before my visit. Well positioned a few minutes walk from the centre, with a pub next door and several others in walking distance so plenty of choice for meals. My room was ideal, clean, comfortable, lovely accessories and a good tea/coffee tray. I don't often stop b&b so breakfast was a real treat, plenty of choice. Nothing was too much trouble, this will definitely be where I stay on my next visit to the area. Excellent in every way.
