Otima hospedagem
Ótimo hotel, preço honesto, muito tranquilo, funcionários muito prestativos. Um pouco afastado da cidade e dos principais pontos de interesse de Indianópolis, mas para quem vai a trabalho, atende bem as necessidades.
Clean Safe & Classy Comfort
We were delighted to find a nice getaway during the Holidays between Christmas & New Years. This lovely Hampton Inn was a pleasant surprise. We found Daniella as the front desk staff to be super sweet, efficient and welcoming. Great job 👏 The hotel has made tremendous efforts to demonstrate a detailed attention to all the necessary protocols & procedures to ensure their beautiful accommodations are exceeding government’s mandates. We felt SAFE & secure in this very comfortable lodging facility during these crazy times of a worldwide pandemic 😷 KUDOS to the housekeepers & the entire hotel staff for exceeding our expectations. This hotel is super quiet & tucked away for a very peaceful & comfortable nights rest. We give 5 Stars ⭐️ to this top notch hotel. Is affordable & a great bang for your buck.
Lots of Hilton Hotels in Indy - CHOOSE WISELY
I should start by saying that we stay at Hilton properties exclusively. This was our second stay in Indianapolis during COVID so we were quite aware of the necessary changes in service. Essentially it’s towels & trash. When we checked in we asked about upgrades since we are gold members. We were told that the hotel was sold out so there were no upgrades available. No problem, but a clue that the hotel was aware that they had a full house of people and should have appropriate level of staffing and resources. After 5 hours of flying everyone in our party showered the first night and again the next morning. When we left for the day we placed the towels and trash in the “entryway” just inside our door. When we returned in the evening the towels and trash were still there. We called the front desk and asked for towels, only to be told that they were out of towels. The clerk said she was nearing the end of her shift, but if the towels were ready before she left she would bring us towels. A short time later the knock on the door and warm towels were delivered. When we left the next morning we stopped at the front desk. We asked for towels to be clean exchanged and trash to be picked up. We also mentioned that kids had been running back and forth in the hallway until midnight. She immediately responded that she knew who it was. When we returned in the evening we had clean towels in our room, but we still had our dirty towels and our trash. Housekeeping was in the hallway so we took our towels and trash to them. On subsequent days towels would be tossed into the hall by other guests. Trash was a recurring theme throughout our stay. There was a trail of garbage in our hallway that remained for multiple days. Almost like there was a small hole in the garbage can and the appropriate sized trash fell out along the carpet as the trash can was moved. Nearly everyday there would be trash in the hallway - pizza boxes, and assorted packaging from fast food. The trash can near the elevator would be stuffed full with extra trash stacked on top. Most days it would still be there when we returned in the evening. The trash can just outside the hotel would be full with trash stacked around it. The day the wind started whipping made for a nice spread of trash about the parking lot. One evening when we returned we figured out where the parents were for the unattended running children. They were down at the pool drinking beer. It was a nice evening so we stopped to take pictures of the sculpture in the roundabout just outside the hotel. As we were taking our pictures we heard the sound of the door from the pool open. We watched as one of the men who had been drinking moved a trash can to prop open the door. He then casually unzipped his shorts and proceeded to urinate on the ground. Stay classy. It wasn’t difficult to figure out the reason for the hotel being at capacity. There was a large baseball tournament going on at Grand Park and the hotel was full of youth baseball players and their parents. The running kids had the same logo gear as the drinking parents as did the urinating parent. Mystery solved. Once we returned home we contacted Hilton with our concerns. We were told that hotel management would be contacting us. Crickets for over a week, so we called Hilton. They checked the file to discover that the hotel had added notes to the file and closed it. It should be mentioned that the customer service rep we talked to was FANTASTIC. Her level of service and concern is consistent with the service we have always received from Hilton, and the reason we are loyal to Hilton. In summary our concerns are twofold. The hotel was either wildly understaffed or wildly incompetent. The second is don’t give people “run of the house” if it comes at the detriment to other guests. I’ve included a picture of one day of outdoor trash. Sorry, but I opted to not take a picture of baseball dad “watering” the ground. We have trips planned to Indianapolis every month through March. We are staying at Hilton properties every time. We stayed at a Hilton property prior to this stay and after. Both were fantastic. If you’re staying in the area choose Hilton. Just don’t choose this one. Now I will watch baseball and drink beer.
My “Go To” when in Carmel
Just wrapped up our third stay of the baseball season. We stayed here all three times. This hotel is one of my favorite Hampton Inns. The lobby/eating area is spacious. Given we are in the midst of the Covid pandemic, we didn’t use it but thought it was worth mentioning. The hotel is very clean, which I always appreciate, but even more so while traveling during Covid. Housekeeping is friendly & swapped out our towels whenever we asked. (They don’t clean rooms daily right now due to Covid). The rooms seem to have been recently remodeled. They were light & bright. The bathrooms no longer have bathtubs and the showers are spacious. The beds are comfy. What I’m noticing at a lot of Hamptons is that the Cloud 9 mattresses haven’t been replaced since they launched them 15ish years ago & you can tell. This hotel’s are extremely comfy and not as worn as a lot of other Hamptons. Another perk is that they have laundry on the 2nd floor. There’s only one set of machines, but they’re free 👍🏼 Finally, Tammy at the front desk is simply wonderful. Not only is she friendly, but she’s also incredibly helpful.
Gross!
Do not stay here bathroom was filthy. Sweep and or vacuum ever? Hair all over. They claim remodeled but a new coat of paint (on everything) and added caulk is just covering the yuck. No breakfast makes Hampton Inn totally over priced...and I will not stay here again even with breakfast.
