Angel at the Front Reception - The Best
I arrived for a one night stay at this Extended Stay location and was greeted by Angel at the reception. Due to the the circumstances (pandemic), there was no breakfast offered and there was plastic shielding hotel staff from guests. Angel quickly advised me that she was not ill, but was simply taking precautions with her face mask and large hand gloves (they were the kind I use to wash dishes at home). She also mentioned that the credit card keypad was sanitized, that the hotel was taking all precautionary measures. What I appreciated most were her professionalism, her calm demeanour and that she mentioned any assistance or questions I might have, she was there to assist. Many thanks to Angel for the warm welcome and for being of service during this time. The king bed was firm, just how I prefer, was very comfortable. In addition, the room was equipped with a kitchenette (I believe my room was 117 facing the back parking area). All in all, was a decent price for the amenities.
Sh*t hole
Pix on hotels.com do not match the actual room. Place is very unappealing & has a funny smell. After we saw the room, we grabbed our stuff & moved to a Hampton Inn. Last time I try to save a few bucks for a baseball tournament with my son. Yuck!
Worse management ever...
The toilet was clogged, there was extreme noises coming from the second floor, as if there was a bawl going on. The front desk lady was not cooperative. She lied to me, when she told me to go back for an extra pillow, and when I showed up to pick it up, she said, “oh I am sorry, but we do not have extra pillows. She had an attitude, as if I was bugging her. Seems like her personal phone was more important. I do not recommend this place at all.
Dad was sick
We were staying there because my dad is very ill and left each morning and came back at night. We had our two dogs with us we arrived at 11 AM after driving all night although check-in is at 3 PM we paid additional and we’re allowed to check in early. we had to pay extra for having the pets due to having to sanitize the rooms after our stay it would’ve been helpful had of been sanitized before as it had a odor when we entered we looked under the bed to retrieve a dog toy and found candy wrappers old lottery tickets and dust and dog hair. we were very tired so rested a couple hours and then went to see my dad at my sisters home and took our dogs with us. when we came back about 9:30 PM there were ants all over by the sink my husband notify the front desk they said they were no maintenance now they would see what they could do well nothing was done each evening when we got back we killed ants all over the counter. The outside door was usually left ajar and garbage was overflowing outside and people were loitering out there. breakfast had lots of sugar and sugar and creamer‘s I have diabetes so couldn’t have coffee or all the sugary carbs. the dog walk area had dog waste all over the place we brought bags to pick up after ourselves although others don’t. In conclusion on our last night I was awakened by what sounded like a shower in the bathroom and was on so I went in and water was flowing through the exhaust vent like a shower onto the bathroom floor into the toilet and bathtub we found out later we walked through toilet water from a toilet of a room above that had overflowed the hotel did relocate us to a different room but we ended up checking out early since we had to pack up anyways and move we wanted to speak to a manager but we’re told we had to come back at 9 o’clock we went back and they refunded our last night we would probably avoid staying at this hotel again. picture attached of hallway right outside room lots of water also have video of waterfall into bathroom disgusting hope we don’t get sick from it
Unsafe and Dirty
My family and I moved into the Extended Stay in Cary for a week while undergoing home repairs. We had to move to a new hotel midweek because of safety and security issues. I was okay with the basic, dated rooms in need of thorough cleaning and minor maintenance. But I heard domestic violence across the hall and witnessed drug use, drinking and loitering outside the side door, which was frequently propped open. There was a pervasive atmosphere of neglect, evidenced by overflowing trash cans, litter, and mud clots and dirt throughout the hotel. This hotel in in serious need of better management and on-site security.
