Overall a lovely, quiet holiday had by our little family. Cheap and cheerful hotel. We stayed for 7 nights beginning of October 2019. Hotel is clean, and we couldn’t fault the cleanliness of our room. We booked a double room with a cot, but found the room too small as there was a unused sofa bed and pull out bed in there too. We had assumed there would be a fridge and kettle but there wasn’t. Asked at the reception to be told no, but asked again to a different receptionist as we needed to make our infants bottles and she managed to get us a kettle to use. After reading other reviews saying there was a mini fridge and kettle available in their rooms, I am a bit disappointed that this wasn’t the case in ours when we had an infant with us. Balcony is huge with a great side sea view (room 503). We booked half board and found dinner was great with plenty of choice but breakfast was poor. The restaurant service staff (particularly Sasha) we’re incredible though! They reserved us a table with a high chair each meal and knew our drink orders. Sasha was fantastic with our little boy, and gave him plenty of attention! Really nice to see. The pool in the hotel was cold, but I imagine would be nice in summer. Baby pool was constantly in the shade. Nice grass and park area. The children’s area could do with being upgraded with just a box of a couple of toys right next to the toilets. So no real entertainment for children so wouldn’t call it a family friendly hotel. Also no evening entertainment except for a man playing keyboard one night in the terrace area. There’s a few other hotels and bars around if you want entertainment.
Our family loved staying at hotel Sorrabona. The staff are friendly, helpful and work hard to keep the place clean. Our kids spent most time by the swimmingpool and the pool tables. Our little babygirl got all the attention she wanted 💕 The breakfast was great. Many thanks from Sweden!
Stayed in the apartments, which are just behind the main hotel. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Towels changed every 2 days and bed linen once a week. 2 bedrooms, which was a bonus. Small kitchenette, ideal for making snacks and drinks, etc. Perfect for a weeks stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. 5 mins walk to the beach and the bars and restaurants. 10 mins walk to the train station which takes you straight into Barcelona. 10 euros each, return. Nice Spanish feel to the resort. Loved it here.
Nice Hotel, opposite the beach, good size room with a sea view, restaurant buffet style, good choice for breakfast and evening meal, drinks a good price aswell, Pineda del mar is a quiet resort, but nice and relaxing, beach not to crowded, Hotel staff all pleasant and eager to give a good service
Ok let me tell you how it is.Hotel overall could not fault,but had one gripe you are not allowed to take drinks from the dining area which you have paid for, found this quite unusual as would have been nice to sit on terrace outside hotel,the food is varied buffet breakfast/Dinner and plentiful sometimes it could have been hotter but we used to wait till they put the food in straight from kitchen,the room was clean/large,towels changed every day if needed and we had added bonus of mini fridge not all rooms do Reception man called Paco very helpful and friendly as all the staff.The beach is directly opposite under a subway,ok the weather was hot but there is a cold wind in day and night which prompted us to buy warmer clothing was not prepared for this.now the transfer to Hotel from Barcelona Airport was a complete nightmare a company called FROM2 now do not use this company,after finding there kiosk told coach would be 2030hrs turned up at 2115.the driver was as helpful as a chocolate fireguard.the door of the coach would not close properly this made delay even more we arrived at Pineda da Mar.dropped few people of.then noticed we was going back the way we came.he stopped at another hotel about 8kms from the resort.and I explained to him why have not dropped us of.just grunted had the hump and went back by now it was gone 2315 hrs dropped us at hotel about 1 mins walk away. checked in we had to go to Pizza takeaway as all restaurants had closed,believe me a nightmare on departure the same 0830 pick up turned up at 0915,picked more people up drove to airport huge delay with traffic,arrived airport 1110 we had 1220 flight just managed to check in etc we thought was going to miss this flight it was all rush rush would never use this company again FROM2 trust me if I could swear on this site the review of FROM2 would be blue !!!!.it spoilt the start/end of holiday now should have done my homework you can get train from Barcelona to Pineda de Mar Costs about 7 euros be warned about this company FROM2
