The best experience so far. I'm here in this hotel together with my cousins and we had a great time although it was a short period of time. We do a lot of games that my cousins facilitate and enjoy at the same time.

Good value for the current room rate

Good location with free parking. Close to Ayala and SM City. Very friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar. The fresh omlett from the breakfast buffet was very delicious. The Grand Superior Room had a small bathroom, noisy aircon and no windows. Next time we will book the deluxe. They ask for P 1'000 deposit on check in, even when you paid with credit card.

I was surprised to see this much talked about 9th Chill Bar obviously on the 9th floor simply highlighting this low rise relatively old hotel right at the heart of Cebu City. I and our friends enjoyed the night for sure and sang to our heart’s desire along with other guests with a wide selection of songs and very nice audio system set up. The staff duo attending to guests in both the videoke room and alfresco bar lounge were so attentive and effective you could see they were closely coordinated. We never were kept waiting long for any request. Service is excellent! The outdoor bar and lounge also looked good and clean with spots for both couples and groups. We even met the GM/ owner and had a nice chat with him. Couldn’t complain in their food as well that my wife even had to bring home 2 food items. It was actually my wife who recommended this hotel being her second home whenever she would travel to Cebu for business in the last 2 decades. My only comment is their restroom on the 9th floor. Although it doesn’t have any offensive odor and was generally clean, the set up wasn’t well thought of, it definitely doesn’t give you a hotel feel. The water closet was also positioned right at the entrance obstructing the passage. Overall i will give this hotel a thumbs up based on my first time experience. We will definitely visit again!

Sa amenities nindot kay complete na. Sa food like ni order mi sa among bfast og bangus og beef kay lami-an kaayo. Sa room service kay ok rasad kaayo kay attentive kaayo ang house keeping. Mga buotan ang staff.

Greed in this time of Covid-19 Pandemic

I stayed for two weeks here (May 1-16) and it was the longest couple of weeks in my life. I was aware that the Grand Superior room I booked was no window, and after checking-in, I realized that I was feeling claustrophobic so I phoned the front desk, spoke with Bridget and asked if I could change to a Deluxe room that has a window and pay the 5-6 thousand more or whatever difference in Agoda rates. Bridget told me that she will only give me a better room if I pay hotel rates which is additional 800 pesos a night which gives a total of 12000 pesos plus taxes for 15 nights. I asked nicely if she could meet me halfway. I asked to speak with a superior but to no avail and said that it's decided. She said if I change my room, I will have a double booking and excuses like that. It's sad because she or I could have easily canceled my original booking and I could have made a new booking on Agoda since everything is paid in cash. I saw the real color of these people during this difficult times and I'm glad I did because It was my first and the last time to stay there and would never make a mistake of spending money on this place again. The aircondtioner is very loud. Hot water in the shower is not even luke-warm. TV channels are all pixalated. The hotel restaurant needs to invest on a better Chef, I ordered room service almost everyday to give the restaurant a chance but they need a better Chef. They closed the lounge on the 9th floor and the guests are only allowed to get fresh air by the hotel entrance and can sit there together with the smokers. If you are a non-smoker, you can sit with the guards. There is a coffee or a tea maker but there is no electric kettle. The room I booked said hair-dryer included but it's a lie, I can only borrow for an hour and if It goes beyond that, I would be charged of 500 pesos per hour. The floor is not carpeted unlike what it says on the booking. This hotel lies about a lot of things and you get to deal with receptionists that aren"t happy with their jobs and with their attitude. Pros: The housekeeping are prompt and were happy to help me with what I needed. I commend Mr. Pacio. He works well and hard and made sure that my room was clean during my stay. there is no electric kettle in the room but the housekeeping was quick to send me hot water everytime I requested and it's for free by the way. The wifi is fast and worked during my entire stay, no problem there. Anyways, those are the things I could remember. I could have extended my stay if only they weren't too greedy about the room rates since I've been staying in hotels before the lockdown happened. Now I found a better Hotel near the Capitol with big windows and a beautiful sunset view. Thank you for showing your true colors! It's sad that you see things in the short term rather than taking this opportunity to work on customer retention.
