Business is CLOSED

We had reservations for June 14 and we received an email saying "so sorry you have cancelled your reservation" but we hadn't cancelled. So I called the owner, and there was a phone recording saying she has sold the business. I guess the buyer just unceremoniously cancelled all the outstanding reservations. So, I guess this is out of business as a B&B.

If I could give this review less than a one, I most certainly would. My wife and I were planning our 31st wedding anniversary, we booked this bed and breakfast weeks ago. Received a notice of cancelation this morning. After of multiple phone calls, Naan, the previous owner, never returned our calls, and, changed her voicemail to reflect that the place had been sold. Naan left a number to reach out to a new owner. I contacted Sterling who said that they're not making any reservations whatsoever until the new owners do what it is they're going to do. So in light of that I would never ever ever recommend Naan, nor would I recommend the new owners. Never ever ever would I recommend the anniversary house. Worst business people on the planet. Lots of luck trying to figure out reservations now, 3 days out. Thanks alot people. I wish the worst possible outcome for your business venture.

This was my first time staying at a B&B. Nice environment, great host, great bed and great food. Couldn’t ask for more. Right in city center. Nice grounds. Charming home and overall great experience. Thanks, I’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The room was large and comfortable and the food was delicious. Nan was very helpful and accommodating and helped make our stay relaxing. Much better than a hotel. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you're in Cedar City. We will be back if we're ever staying in the area again.
Great Option for Shakespeare Festival

I stayed here over Labor Day Weekend to attend the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
I had never stayed in a B & B before and didn’t know what to expect.
Nan, the owner welcomed me graciously, and gave me two keys, one to my room and one to the front door of the house. This was convenient since the evening plays at the festival don’t end until around 10:30 or 11:00 pm.
You get free reign of the house, which includes a selection of books to read and a dining area with chocolate cake, snacks, and a fridge filled with bottled water and cans of soda.
I got an early start most days, so I only stayed for one of the breakfasts, which consisted of coffee cake, eggs, fresh fruit, juice, and an apricot bread pudding so good I’ll be dreaming about it for years to come.
The house is located on a quiet, tree-lined residential street within a short walking distance of the theater venues for the festival, as well as several places to eat. By the way, if you do stay here, make sure to eat at Centro Pizzeria for some truly awesome wood fired pizza.
As for the room itself, I stayed in the Spring Room, which is adjacent to the breakfast area. The room is somewhat small but of adequate size for a solo traveler. It was clean and featured antique style furnishings and decorative pillows with yellow floral patterns, a refreshing change of pace from the generic decor of the chain hotels where I often stay when traveling. The bed was very comfortable so I had no problem getting a good nights sleep.
I would definitely stay here again. Not only is it convenient to the Shakespeare Festival, but you’re also within driving distance to Cedar Breaks, Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Kodachrome Basin, and Lake Powell. The Anniversary House also has the added advantage of being pretty reasonably priced compared with some other bed and breakfasts.
Give it a try. It’s way better than staying at some bland motel.
