Needs serious help
On this date, Aug 23, 3020, this hotel needs some serious restoration. In our room, there is an outlet that does not have a cover which is a serious safety hazard and the shower curtain rod is coming out if the wall. The light in the bathroom does not work, we notified someone upon check-in but nothing was done about the light. We also noticed that there was no soap, asked at the desk, and was told: "we are currently out of bar soap". The bed is a joke terribly uncomfortable. Traffic issues are insane, this hotel is located right next to the on-ramp of I-5, you constantly hear all the vehicles revving to get onto the freeway.
Don't, just don't.
It's old, the rooms are small , very very loud road noise, no breakfast due to C19 not even a baggy breakfast like other choice hotels. You get the impression that your car will get broken into overnight. It's 8 PM so time will tell. I'd say sleep at the walmart for a few hours and keep going to a real hotel someplace.
Mad before we even checkin.
We are using this hotel because our motorhome is being repaired nearby and went to the hotel early to see if it was possible to check-in early. They said yes for a $20 fee. Our state just opened up after a 2 month shutdown. This hotel may not get a nother customer for sometime so why so customer unfriendly?
Good hotel, close to baseball tournament
We decided to choose this hotel for my child’s baseball tournament as it was both close to the fields (0.8 miles away per google maps) and not obscenely overpriced like a lot of the hotels in the area. We stayed in a 2 queen room on the upper floor. The room and bathroom was clean. Beds were comfortable. It was only two of us, so it was a decent size, but for a anymore people, it would have been a tight squeeze. The room had an old baseboard heater that took forever to slightly heat the room the first night and then when we got back to the room the next day, it was super hot in the room and the heater wouldn’t adjust back down by much. Definitely needs to be replaced and updated. The rooms only have one lock, no upper door latch like most hotels, that made me slightly worried, but luckily we didn’t have any issues. Walls are fairly thin, so either ask for a room away from the masses or bring some headphones/ear plugs and turn up the tv. Tons of channel options, which was both surprising and very much appreciated. Only the hot tub was open this time of year, it’s in a small room and per my child’s review, was only lukewarm. The free breakfast was good: waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, pastries, cereal, toast...the usual. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel after reading some of the reviews and would likely stay there again if we play baseball in the area in the future.
Loud, old, a bit scary
To be honest, worse location for a hotel ever. My room was right off a 3 lane busy road. The place is dark. The place is loud with people echoing throughout the halls. The price is great, so you get what you pay for. The room was clean. The bathroom is extremely small.
