Cesme's worst hotel

Avaliou em 13 de outubro de 2019

Where do I even start?? This hotel was probably the worst hotel I've been to in Cesme. First of all, there was nobody to welcome us when we first came to the hotel. There were no elevators in this hotel and the staff never offered to carry our luggage. This awful staff made my 60 yr old dad carry his luggage upstairs. Not acceptable. The overall attitude of the staff was very awkward like they were forced to be there. Rooms were not clean enough, and even though we requested seperate beds, they weren't seperated. So we waited an extra 10 minutes for the staff to lazily fix that situation. Our balcony door's lock was broken and WE made the staff give us the key to the safe (normally you have to pay for the safe, which is the most daft thing ever), they never requested to change our room. I felt so unsecure and literally couldn't sleep because of that. Other than that, the TV was unwatchable because it kept losing signal. The only good thing about this hotel is the breakfast and it's close to Alacati and Ilica. We won't be coming back here.

Good Breakfast, Not too far from beach, Budget

Overall, our stay was good. It was a silent room, small, nice, simple, elegant hotel. Breakfast was AMAZING. Walking distance to the beach takes around 15 minutes. If you have a car, it will be easier (In Cesme, having a car will help you to find quiet good place, in 20 to 30 minutes around Cesme). As was there was fire near the Dam, the water didn’t come from the Dam when we were staying. The water was from deep fountain. And the problem was the water from the shower and the tap was salty. This was a general problem in Ilıca at that time.

Totally not worth your money, except breakfast

We were to attend a wedding in a nearby hotel on our road trip style holiday so we were gonna stay just one night and decided to book a closer hotel to the wedding. We regret the decision. There is almost nothing good with this hotel. You park your car and meet with a steep stairs to enter the hotel where no one greets you. They also have no elevators in the hotel aswell, luckily we were on the first floor. The rooms are not impressive at all. It has a your basic need but that's that. Also when you turn on the air conditioner the the water goes into your balcony so wear your slippers. Similar thing happens with shower as well, no matter how tight you close the bathroom is soaked after shower. Also the water was bit chaotic the heat was shifting between scorching hot and freezing cold every minute. Only good thing i can say is the breakfast. Which is not an open buffet but serpme as we locals call it. They bring your stuff to your table, amounts vary depending on how many people are eating but it was enough for a good breakfast. Overall the hotel is not worth your buck. It is not cheap nor expensive but if you are not in position like us to attend a wedding there are cheaper alternatives. If you are into luxury there are better alternatives for your money.

The Lord of Cesme

Forget about the last rewiew for the hotel. All the past 2014. They have changed the hotel for 2015 Lobby and room has been changed. Staff and many thing of the hotel has changed too. They have invite me to the hotel I am really happy for the result . Cesme famous at last 5 years but the problem is that hotel prices are crazy. The Lord hotel now has good service and updated new rooms. They have arround 35 rooms including family rooms and 2 suites. Breakfast delicous and staff can speak German and English. Price is good for the cesme just a problem is that they need to arrange a shuttle service to the beaches

Not a perfect location, poor food, no English..

Pros: Room was quite big and clean (although during 5 days stay we had the cleaning service only once). Staff tried to be helpful, although their language skills were really bad. Shops nearby. Balcony. Cons: Very poor breakfast (only instant coffee and powdered milk, no any cereals, youghurt, and anything like this, not even any warm food, everyday the same) Quite noisy in the evenings (due to music played by the staff and the street nerby), not strong wifi,
