Nice place in Cha Am

Nice stay at a beautiful resort. Opposite of the beach. All facilities very neat and clean. Breakfast is good but more focussed on Asian tourists (a lot of Thai go to Cha Am). Staff is very friendly but communication is a challenge. Beaches are ok but there are far better ones in Thailand

2 minutes waking distance from the Cha Am Beach, we booked this property. Good value for money, i will say on par, not extra not less. Pool is good and maintained. We booked a villa , gives you private room, access to pool and private terrace to sit. overall good stay of 2 nights.

Avoid the Bistro

We had lunch here yesterday and it was very disappointing. We ordered drinks (no wine) and waited to order food. We ordered a noodle dish, a rice dish and some Pork Chops (Plenty of things were not available). We waited for the food. We ordered another drink, and waited. The first two dishes came but no sign of the Chops. We waited altogether for about an hour and there was no sign of them. So we asked for the bill, paid, and left (Just as the chops arrived) The two staff were very indifferent and should not really have a public facing job, The outside area was very dirty with lots of rubbish blown down from the trees strewn everywhere. Shame really as a good location and it looked decent.

First visit to this hotel, in fact first visit to Cha Am, and what a cracking hotel this is, lovely big pool although not very deep, all of the staff that we encountered were extremely smiley, the room we had was beautiful, the bathroom exquisite in fact the first time my wife used the rain forest shower she said she was staying in there all night as it was the best shower in all of 7 hotels we stayed in this holiday!!!! The only constructive comment we have to make about the room we were in was the lack of shelves or usable drawers to store items of clothing, we put on the suggestion sheet that was in the room that maybe 2 or 3 shelves could be fitted in the left hand wardrobe of the room we stayed in. Only one 3 bar wooden rack available outside the room to dry things on. Breakfast was semi self service ie: coffee, juice and water was brought to the table, you served yourself to cereal, toast, sausage and ham you ordered eggs and these were served to your table, there was also a choice of fruit, pastries, etc and also a selection of Asian food. The evening menu looked very good and was very reasonably priced for a hotel, the one meal we had which was the Pantai burger (sorry for being boring!!) but we were travelling the next day, the burger was very very good and filling. Would we stay here again? Too damn right we would!!!

Been using this place for many years to sit Outside for a early evening cocktail since last year you can no longer smoke outside they require you to move 3 foot to the staircase it is the only restaurant in Cha Am But you cannot smoking even at the outside tables 2 of the waiters are very nice and friendly there is one waiter there that should not be working with the public he is rude aggressive and makes you feel very uncomfortable I will no longer use this place no wonder it is empty all the time
