Service Staff is Great. Hotel is Garbage.

My family booked 2 private villas and we stayed here for 3 nights. We were attracted to this hotel by the facilities for children. First off, the service staff was excellent. Everyone was nice and helpful. Second - the pools were great for children. Beyond that, the villa we stayed in was HORRIBLE. A few comments: 1. Both downstairs showers were broken. On the bathtub we could not switch to the shower head. The handle was broken. For the larger shower, we could not switch from the overhead shower to the handheld shower. The switch was broken. 2. The stopper on one of the two downstairs sinks was broken. So water could not drain down. For the other usable sink, the drain seemed partially clogged as the water drained low. 3. The internet was unusable in the villas. Even the TV in the room could not connect to the internet. So for the three days we had to run up our roaming charges while in the room. We would get inconsistent connection upstairs, but downstairs (the main bedroom) there is no internet connectivity. 4. The sheets felt dirty. I commented on this to my family after the first night, but just figured it was due to the moisture or something. However, on our checkout date at 10:55am, when I went to the villa next door to look for our travel group - I saw the people who were scheduled to stay that day ALREADY IN THE ROOM. Housekeeping was just sweeping the floors. I asked later and our group had left at 10:50am. That means there was only 5 minutes that passed until the next family was in. So this begs to question - do they change the sheets? I am sitting in a 5-star hotel now, and my travel group all discussed this and everyone felt that the sheets were dirty. I am not claiming that the sheets were not changed - but I have never been to a hotel that allowed guests in that fast after prior checkout. 5. My child stepped on a small piece of broken glass and her foot was bleeding. I called the staff and asked for a bandaid. They never came. We had to figure it out ourselves. I would blame the system given all that I experienced, more than the staff. As I mentioned the staff was excellent from our experience. 6. These two are minor complaints: a. The air-conditioning in the downstairs bedroom is incredibly loud. Even when set to low. b. When housekeeping was cleaning, they left the doors wide open. So our rooms at night had several mosquitos. I've given this a low rating for the villas. I'm assuming the rooms were much better value.

Very nice vacation

Everything was fine with our stay. The rooms (Family rooms) were spacious, the staff lovely, the breakfast delicious and with a good selection. Also the pool area was pretty nice. There's actually nothing bad to say. You probably need a car since it's not close to the city, but we knew that. But it somehow didn't felt premium for a 5-star resort. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but compared to other 5-star hotels in this region, some premium touch was missing. But we still recommend the Springfield.

Restaurant service :-(

My family and I wanted to have a good evening in a good restaurant. We have placed our order. We had to wait 45 minutes for the service of my wife and our boy, then 50 minutes for the service of my daughter and finally the waiter told me to wait another 20 minutes to receive my steak !!! So I have to wait 1h10 to be served in this restaurant !!!!! After a complaint they offered a 10% discount, but they forgot the discount in the invoice. This service is the worst in Cha-Am. If you are hungry you will have to wait about an hour to eat. It is not a 4 star at all. In addition, they are lying by announcing a 10% discount because they are forgotten on the invoice. I live in Cha-Am but we will never go to this restaurant again !!!

My experience with this resort are the utmost pleasant. The high standard of the room, quality of room service and restaurant facilities at this hotel are all excellent. There are massage facilities with expertise and quality. Pool area are really nicely arranged. I'll give it my highest recommendation

My children are happy and have fun at the pool. Great services and facilities. Reasonable price with 4 stars but looks we received 5 stars value. We can spend all day at there. There's not far from night market too.
