Tonight I saw the blond front desk clerk flirting with and kissing a guest. I understand this is mostly a business hotel, but I was here with my kids. I will never be back! This is the worst hotel I have ever been too

he hotel has really changed from when I first started staying. The General Manager has changed more times than it ever should. I don’t know who IHG is hiring that they can’t improve this hotel, but it’s evident that they still haven’t gotten it right.
Wednesday 10/13, I went to the desk several times over the course of a few hours after 4pm, no sign, no answered calls to the hotel number, and no staff in sight. When I did finally track down the employee working she was with some guy in the meeting room. I only assume this was a guest, as he was not in uniform.
I have been traveling for almost 20 years on business, and never have I seen the amount of filth, mold, guest disregard, and incompetence as I saw on my last stay with Candlewood Suites.
I will say it is not all the staff who fall into this disparaging review. The woman who checked me in was friendly, helpful, and explained everything in detail. The woman who was working very early in the morning said good morning and told me to have a good day. The young lady who checked me out, was efficient and did ask me if I wanted a receipt. Those ladies do not fall short in my eyes. And it is a shame that they have to be overshadowed by the complete negligence and disarray that has become this IHG property.

STAY AWAY from this hotel! If your desperate and don't have many options then I can understand why staying here. This hotel is the worst of the Areya Management Group brand!. The General Manager is not only rude but she is never around. She will do NOTHING to make your stay better. She offers no points to guest who have had an awful experience that stems from the hotel fault. I personally think Areya Management should find a replacement for a GM here. I sent an email to her once and she responded with a rude response. When I responded to her rude email she NEVER returned my email. I not only have proof of this but I also notified my company about her antics. This GM is way to comfortable in her position and should find another job! I have never been to a hotel where the GM does not intervene to make things right. I stayed here for a month and it was the worst experience ever. I only stayed that long to avoid hotel taxes and to see if the hotel would make it right but they never did. I left with absolutely no apologies and no compensation for the experience.
The rooms for studios are EXTREMELY small and outdated and smell at least my room was. The AC worked horribly and I got sick thinking I had COVID and it wasn't that it was the darn room. Good luck getting toilet paper they are extremely mean about the toilet paper. Rooms were never cleaned good. Bring your lysol can spray if you wanna stay covid free. Many times the staff did not have mask on.
On a positive note, I do not want to say that all of the staff was rude and not nice. There were a selected few that were nice and always had a professional attitude about them but its like a total of 3 of the employees. I could not tell most the times who was employees and who was not, it appeared at times that someones kids would work behind the counter. One lady looked like she lived and worked there. Again the GM was NEVER around!
Just don't go here if you do you can not say I did not warn you. I know for a fact many of my companies consultants left this awful hotel because of how it was ran.

Internet was GREAT

I rate hotels by internet speed and how good the internet is. So this stay here was GREAT the internet was fast and good. I play online games alot so I have to have great internet most places I stay have very bad internet even though the rooms are good and clean. if there internet is bad no matter how much great servece every thing else is I do not give good reviews. So this hotel I stay in again because the internet was so great.

This hotel is finely appointed. It is an extended stay hotel, so there is no breakfast, but we were on a long road trip and planning to leave early. We were interested in convenience, safety and quiet. This hotel is very near the highway, the rooms are mostly quiet. There is an array of restaurants within walking distance, and more nearby. The room had a full sized fridge, kitchen area and two nice beds. It felt spacious and restful. There was no restaurant at the hotel, but there were places that delivered in the area.
